I am so sorry that you're in a tough situation. But you really need to remember this next time that you hop in bed with your boyfriend. Remember the risks. But I am proud of you for using a condom and TRYING to have safe sex. Kudos to you for that.
But now, you have only one thing to do. You have to tell your grandparents calmly. Basically all that you can do is sit down with them and be like, alright, I have to tell you something. Don't beat around the bush. Don't lie about it. And don't just yell out across the house, "Oh yeah. I'm pregnant. Gotta go to the mall..." Just say it to the point and get it over with. Okay, so they'll initially be mad. But they'll get over it and soon will be thrilled. Congratulations on keeping your child. You will love it more every day. =]

This is going to be the hardest thing you have to do in your life. You need to tell them, and you need to tell them now for you and your baby's sake. You have lived with them and they are protecting you from your abusive parents, they will not send you back. It is not OK that you had sex with your boyfriend but it is not the end of the world. They will be shocked, mad, and they just might be upset a little. But they will not do anything but help you. You need them now more than ever. You can not keep it a secret forever and the best time for them to know is now. Take a deep breath and go for it. If abortion is not an option then birthing the baby is. First you need to tell them, then talk over your situation after the shock wears off. There is much to decide as you have just lost your childhood and teenager status. Good Luck ... life is changing.

Well, if you are pregnant you are now considered an adult, and you can move out with your boyfriend. But I don't suggest it. If your parents are abusive, and if your grandparents love you, then they will support you. Yeah, sure, they'll be a little angry at first, and I can see where they are coming from. But they understand what you have been through. Just keep it cool, and just tell your grandparents. If they do send you back to your parents, you can move out. Just keep it strong and give this baby a life you didn't have. Have you thought about open adoption? Or just plain old adoption? But if you keep this baby, make sure you give it a better life than your parents gave you. You know what is feels like not to be loved, so don't treat your child the same way. In open adoption, you can see your baby anytime and you can choose the parents.

It your parents were really abusive your grandparents won't send you back there. In fact, if it their abusiveness has been established in court they would not be allowed to send you back.
Sometimes, though, when parents try to set limits on a kid who is acting out of control that kid will see them as "abusive", act up more, and eventually the grandparents agree to take the kid and "be nice" to the kid by not setting limits. Anyway, as long as your parents are REALLY abusive and this isn't the case you don't have to worry.
Besides, if your grandparents took you and this has happened there is the chance your parents won't want you back anyway. They may blame your grandparents for giving you too much freedom and tell them it is their problem now.
If you can't tell your grandparents yourself you need to tell a school counselor, who can help you tell your grandparents. There is plenty of help around for young kids who are pregnant and have babies. If a counselor helps you tell your grandparents then your grandparents can get the help they need at this point.
There is a chance your grandparents could request that you go into a foster home if they feel you won't cooperate with them in getting help from whatever groups, agencies, or professionals there are who can offer support and help. Until you're 18 you're young enough to become a ward of the state. Maybe, too, they'd find you a group home somewhere with other unwed pregnant teens.
Because you're so young you need good medical monitoring and care or you could have serious, serious, problems. Again, tell a school counselor or else just go tell your grandparents. It is always kind of ironic to me how the very kids who go out and are "brave enough" to take whatever chances they take are often not "brave enough" to tell parents/grandparents when something happens.
If you are going to have that baby you need to be a grown-up really soon - so why not start by just telling your grandparents and offering to go along with whatever will make things easiest for them.

im not going to preach to u because i got pregnant at 13 and my son is almost 6 now. so i was having sex young too. dont feel bad when people put u down because i get put down all the time for it and i am a good mom and have raised my son from the start. its a hard thing to do especially since ur bf is so far away. i would sit down and say look i know u r going to be really mad but i have to tell u something and please be calm and then tell them . u may be surprised how they react. of course they will be mad but they will calm down eventually and tell them u dont want an abortion. i feel for ya girl. if they say u ahve to go live with ur rents then u can come live with me . lol. but for real if u need to talk my email address is mrs_dnll@yahoo.com.
good luck

I'm sorry you find yourself in such a pickle. You're going to have to do some research and quickly. If abortion isn't an option, you have other alternatives like adoption you can consider. I would recommend finding out what you can do, where you can find help (talk to your doctor as soon as possible, collect information about area teen pregnancy resources, and be very honest) and who will support your choices. Once you know what you have to do, talk to your grandparents (and talk to your BF, too; he's in the soup right along with you and deserves to know). Be honest, but be clear about your decisions. You've catapulted yourself into adulthood; stand up, take charge, and get yourself situated as best you can. Good luck--

Honey, you need more help than you can get from a bunch of strangers on the Internet. You must tell your grandparents. And Child Protective Services (to guard against your abusive parents). A Social worker can help you sort through your options. Best wishes, sweetheart.

I found myself in your same positon when I was your age. Its not easy and your life is about to change dramatically. I will tell you that they are not going to be happy and they may scream and yell, but you need to give them time to digest the news and when they calm down it will be ok. I would suggest that you tell your bf and have your friend be there with you when you tell your parents (grandparents, whatever the case is) for a little support. You are going to need all you can get. Email me if you want I know what your going through!! Good Luck!

Im sure your grandparents wouldnt send you back to abusive parents. You are just scared and thinking of all the worst things that can happen. Just sit them down and tell them and Im sure it will be fine. Yes they will probably be very upset at first, because I know I would if my daughter at 14 got pregnant. But after I cooled down, I would do everything to help her out and take her to the doctor, etc....You need to tell them as soon as possible so you can get to the doctor and start taking your prenatal vitamins.

I would just tell them... And tell them you are considering adoption. Tell them how you feel, but try not to get angry & yell even if they do! I think you realize your mistake, right? Just tell them, or tell another adult that you trust, and have that adult come with you when you tell them... They need to know, you need to see a doctor! Then don't have sex again until you are prepared to deal with these consiquences. Not having sex is the BEST way, not to mention the ONLY way to not get pregnant. I am very sorry for you! I truley hope you learn from this experience, to better your life and others who might one day find themselves in the same situation. My prayers are with you!
