I'm 15, and pregnant with twins.

And, I asked about these names in the baby section. And she wrote something nasty one there about "me not being pregnant" and that "i should be reported".

Does this mean that she's against teen pregnancy or is she that insecure that people are always lying on the internet?

I sent her an email and she said "i'm not falling into your little scheme!!" WTF???

Why would someone lie about being pregnant?!

I babysitt for a friend..her daughter is 4 yrs old..she is always saying sorry for everything she does..if she drops a toy(sorry)...it doesn't matter what she's doing..it's always SORRY..I've told her it's ok..and that she doesn't need to say sorry...her mom is very good with her..she doesn't get spanked or yelled at for making messes etc..her mom doesn't know why she started doing this...the problem now...is that my 2 toddlers are now starting to do the same as her...also she bites her nails all the time...and now my 3 yr old is doing this..but he always bites his toe nails...any ideas how to stop this for all the kids...someone said to not babysit..I can't tell her I won't babysit anymore and don't want to do this...she's a single mother and is working very hard to put a downpayment on a little home for the 2 of them...so she can't afford daycare...other then this...she listens and is a good girl...gets along great with my kids...

When do you open presents in your family? On my side of the family we open our presents on Christmas Eve(tonight). So we spend Christmas Eve with my family. Then my daughters open their presents from "Santa" tomorrow morning. Then we go to my husbands' side of the family and open more presents because they open presents on Christmas Day.

I know I posted it twice in two different sections but that is to get more answers.

I just found out I was pregant a few days ago & I am very unsure. My situation is a bad one and not because of the baby. The father can not be there for the baby, and he thinks an abortion is appropriate because he can't be around and he doesn't want the child to think he is a dead beat. I know how it sounds. But the father simply can not be around for our child, and I am very unsure about raising a child on my own, however, I could never see myself having an abortion. At the same time, I am not ready. & I can not see myself having a child either at this point in my life. But I know that this is a result of two people's actions and not that of my unborn child. & it should not be punished. I dont want to go against the father with the issue, but I'm not backing down for my baby either. Is there any advice on how to get him to see it my way? that this is our child and we can't punish it for our actions. Please share your experiences and give me some advice..I sure could use it.

My son is 7 mos. old, 20.9 lbs and 28.5 inches long. He's a big guy and likes to wrestle, stretch, look around, flip, and anything else he can thing of while we get dressed or the diaper changed. At what age did you stop using the changing table? What do you do now? Floor? Crib?

I already called and spoke with a nurse at the hospital who told me not to worry about this, but I am still concerned

My baby normally spits up after she eats (she's breastfed) but it just dribbles out of her mouth, it doesn't shoot out.

Last night my husband was watching her and she had her pacifier in her mouth. She spit out the pacifier with force and spit up shot out, up about 5 inches he said. That's when I called the nurse but she said if it was projectile vomiting it would be like 3 feet in the air. She said what he saw was normal.

So I've kept an eye on her, but this morning it happened again.

I'm just concerned because it isn't normal for her. She doesnt' have a fever, I already checked that. And her behavior is pretty much the same, she's a little more fussy than normal but nothing really weird.

???

Merry Christmas Eve, btw & thanks for your answers on a holiday!

My daughter's 11 months old this week, and I don't feel ready yet. My mother was telling me I should wean her, and I think it's too soon (my mother formula-fed me, so maybe there's where the discrepancy lies in readiness to wean). When did everyone wean their babies/toddlers?
