I've had two sets of twins and both times the dr. told me when I was only 6 weeks pregnant, but they could not tell me the sex of the babies until I was 24 weeks. Everything with twins is different than it is with just one baby. You also probably won't get a good ultrasound picture with more than one baby inside you.

Yes, you'll be able to tell at the ultrasound if you're having twins or not.
That's very exciting! Because if your uterus is measuring big, it probably (not always) means you're either pregnant with more then one, or farther along then you think you are (which is always a plus to have a little time taken off of the wait!). Good luck :)
OH! And the can sometimes see the sex of the baby as early as 14 weeks. However, it's usually the most reliable between 16-22 weeks :)

They will be able to tell you at your ultrasound how many babies you're carrying. I just had my first ultrasound on the 20th of this month and was convinced I was having twins because it runs in my family and it's my turn. If you are having one, the gentailia are fully formed and visible at 14 weeks, although you won't find out until between 16-20 weeks. Good luck.

In the primary situation, I do not feel such a lot of the ones posts. People in general publish such questions and experiences, simply to peer the reaction. Secondly, this society does no longer "permit" 12 12 months olds to have infants. Many matters are in situation to support avoid such matters from taking place, the 2 such a lot influential being the care of mom and dad and guardians, and the regulation. The obstacle is that no quantity of tracking, wanting literal imprisonment of our kids, can avoid all such circumstances. And this phenomena is not anything new. It has been taking place so long as there were men and women. Remember, in additional primitive occasions, the correct baby bearing age for a feminine was once whilst the frame was once capable to create lifestyles. Our tradition has selected to prolong "formative years" to a far later age than has nature. I believe this can be a well factor in that through giving a individual extra time to be trained and mature, that individual must input maturity a lot more ready for the very specific global, so much transformed from the ones extra primitive occasions. Still, there shall be curious youngsters experimenting, older youngsters and adults taking skills of the more youthful ones, and infants will nonetheless be having infants. We can best do the fine we will be able to to guard them. We too can furnish childeren with the equipment to guard themselves. I comprise, amongst those equipment, the notion that a few style of intercourse schooling gain knowledge of in colleges from an excessively early age. Age correct knowledge must be necessary EVERY 12 months of a baby's education. And the older they get, the extra targeted and, if quintessential, extra picture it must be. By the time a baby reaches bodily puberty, he/she must be good conscious of the viable penalties of sexual touch. If the "thriller" is long past, the interest is decreased. If the penalties are recognized, the victimization abated. In different phrases, if a baby is aware of extra approximately WHY he or she must no longer get right into a automobile with, or to comply with a stranger, the fewer most probably he or she will take that threat.

Hey, I had my first vaginal ultrasound when i was almost 8 weeks along. At this time they were able to hear the heartbeat. So then they can tell how many heartbeats there are. They say that at about 18-20 weeks you will be able to tell the gender of the baby. Good luck!!

You will be able to tell if its twins then, do you have a reason to believe there is more than one in there?
And usually with the first child they can tell the sex of the baby around 20 weeks or so. Congrats. How far along are you?

you should be able to find out at your first ultrasound after 6 weeks. They will be able to look and see how many gestational sacs and how many fetal poles are in your belly.
The sex is usually determined between 18-21 weeks. The further along you are, the more accurate they will be able to tell the gender.

I personally think this is a pretty STUPID question...the sex and how many shouldn't be your first pregnancy concerns when looking at an ultrasound!!!!!!! What about the fact that your baby is healthy and growing well. Makes you look immature and kind of selfish...most women wonder if they can hear a heartbeat and not the sex!
