Kevin M. and Avatar are right. Do NOT listen to the dumb@sses who tell you not to have an abortion. Is there an unwanted fetus inside THEIR bodies? Are they willing to have one put there? NO? Then they can just STFU.

Get the morning after pill ASAP.

If the girl's period is late, get a pregnancy test at a drugstore.

If the girl is pregnant, absolutely get an abortion. 13 and 16 is much too young to be parents. I repeat, don't listen to the religious whack-jobs. They aren't the ones who have to live your situation. Don't let them tell you how to run your life.

And for the gods' sakes, get on the pill! Or some effective method of contraception. I'm glad you're using condoms, but a condom plus something else is better.

No~one will judge you.

How long ago did you have sex? If it was within 3 days, you can use the morning after pill, which MAY prevent pregnancy but you really need to see a doctor to get checked out for sexual diseases.

I've had condoms split on me twice, so maybe you should also think about other contraceptive methods in the future, but you really are too young to be having sex (even if you don't feel like you are) and it's illegal for someone to have sex with you until you're 16, so your boyfriend has broken the law by having sex with you!

Has he offered you any help or advice?

You can get the morning after pill from your doctor or a family planning clinic for free or you can buy it from a chemist.

I hope you're lucky and you don't have any sexual health problems or get pregnant.

Good luck xx

The best thing is the morning after pill. If it is too late for the pill then abortion is the best option. Remember that abortion was invented by God, and is used every day by God in the form of natural abortion or miscarriage. God set up the world such that having an abortion releases enough resources to save the lives of 12 loved and born children. Abortion saves the lives of 12 children for every abortion performed. And there are 100 million kids in the world that need adoption. If you bring the fetus to term simply to allow adoption, you are simply displacing another needy child that will suffer. So don't put up for adoption.
Anyone here that says abortion is murder is calling God a murderer and is guilty of causing the death of 12 loved and wanted kids. So you do what is right in your own mind, don't depend on the opinion of people who are incapable of thinking the problem through.

First of all are you sure you are pregnant? Not every time you have sex without using a condom that you get pregnant. If I were you I would take a pregnancy test and if it is positive you should sit down with a counselor and decided what is best for you. Your options are to have an abortion, keep the baby or give it up for adoption. Only you can make the right decision for yourself but you may want to contact planned parenthood they can assist you in making your decision.

Ok, so you're 13. What's done is done. Now you have to worry about the consequences. How long ago did this happen? If it has been within 72 hours, go to a teen pregnancy center (they will not notify your parents), and get the morning after pill. If it's been longer than that, you will need to wait at least 3 weeks before a pregnancy test will determine if you're pregnant. If you are pregnant, please talk to your parents. It's not safe for you or the baby to not receive care during your pregnancy. I know it's a horrible thing to have to discuss with your parents, but you have to. If you're not pregnant, be more careful. Go to your health department and get put on birth control. If you're going to have sex, then you're old enough to know that you have to take your own precautions to prevent pregnancies and contracting STD's. I hope that you're not pregnant and that you take this advise seriously!

Depending on where you are, give a call to Planned Parenthood; 1-800-230-PLAN. If this just recently happened get yourself some Plan B/emergency contraception. If it's been too long for that, don't worry - you don't even know if your pregnant or not. Just relax, and wait to see if your cycle comes normally. If you miss your period, go down to Planned Parenthood and have a test done (they're free). If you are pregnant they will be able to explain all of your options too you and help with each of them, abortion, adoption, birth, etc.

Also, despite some other answers - abortion is perfectly acceptable, both legally and morally. The only people who would keep a woman from obtaining an abortion are those who view women not as humans, but as gestation tanks. There's not a thing wrong with it - it's your body, and your choice.

You need to speak to you mother as you are only 16.

You're 13, enjoy life which doesn't mean having sex with a 16 year old, who should know better. Okay at least you use a condom but what here is doing is illegal in the UK because you are underage and he isn't.

I know it's difficult but in future just say no...

are you even pregnant? find out before you start worrying. And if your all clear next time use some other form of contraception as well. Spermicide gel works well in conjunction with a condom, as it adds extra protection. Also see your doctor about possible vaginal contraception you might be able to have 'installed'. But i dont know much about that.

If you are pregnant you have choices but don't automatically assume you should abort. If you want the baby the government will give you help to raise your child in the form of benefits and possibly other help such as a support worker who could take some of the workload off your shoulders. Its your decision but it requires more thought than you put into the original act of procreation.

Don't worry, be happy, you are living in a country of wealth, prosperity and abundance with social security systems set up to protect you whatever your circumstance. And as other people have said, get a better more constructive hobby than sex.

To get an abortion you have to be pregnant. For now you are not sure. If you have less than 72 hours from when that happened you can ask for after pill at the pharmacy. They will ask you lots of questions by the way but it is free and confidential. If you have more than 72 hours after... well, wait a bit and take a pregnancy test. Later you may find that you are not pregnant after all. At present you can find teens clinics at your area.

Go tell the 16 year old you may be pregnant for starters, maybe he will reconsider things before thinking about having sex in the future.( especially with a child of 13 ).
I shall not judge you as you are of the age of irresponsibility.
But the 16yr old should have more sense than you are expected to have and know better.

As for what you should do:- you should let you parents know what has happened so they can take the appropriate measures for your sake.
