Pregnancy & Parenting - 24 December 2007

Okay, I'm having a scheduled c-section next Thursday.
I was speaking to my mom today and she told me that my aunt said she was going to stay with me for a week to help out with my baby. Honestly, I don't want anyone to move in with me. My husband will be off for 3 weeks so its not like I won't have anyone to help me around the house.
How could she just volunteer herself? No one asked me if that was okay. Theres already going to be a lot of people at the hospital. The last I would want is to be bothered when I get home too. I know this will be a joyous time for my family but I just want it to be me, my husband, and our baby, at least for the first 2 weeks or so. Any advice?
Plus, my aunt smokes...

can a baby be thirsty if she's been crying / screaming for more than 20mins? if so should i feed her with water first or milk (its her feeding time and she's hungry)

I'm 17 weeks pregnant today.My boyfriend and I have been together 2 1/2 years and it was clear when we first met that we were meant to be together. When I found out I was pregnant, I was 10 weeks. I told my bf and the first thing that came out of his mouth was to abort it.I was completely shocked to hear this from him. I told me family and they were so excited about it, more than I really was to be honest. He didn't want to tell his parents yet. He has already a 5 year old but he lives with his mother. After I decided to keep the baby, that's when all of the arguing started. It even got to the point where he told me he hated me and I left to stay with my family for a while. We have an apartment together and we both have our own car payments and credit cards. He has been so cold hearted towards me and has said some pretty nasty things to me. At times he has even ignored me. So about 2 weeks ago we really got into it and I left to stay with my mom in Georgia(he stays in FL). He still

Ok, so I have been using ovulation predictor kits all this month and yesterday (cycle day 14) I got one where I couldnt really tell if it was positive or negative. Now today I took one and its totally negative, and I've been tracking my temps and mine totally spiked this morning...so I'm pretty sure I ovulated.

I thought that women were supposed to have a few fertile days each month. Is it possible that I only have 1 fertile day each month??? I'm so confused!!

but i am not dilated yet! she told me to call her only if i'm having contractions every 3 to 5 min or if i bleed like a period. well that same day i did bleed but it wasn't a lot. The discharge was like brownish, i didn't call because it only happened once and didn't wanna make a big deal about it! now. i just wanna know if this happened to any of ya? thank you

Around 5 months back, While making out with my girlfriend, i mast..... in my undie rubbing against her n in the process a few drops of semen got transferred frm my undie to hers.. Is there any possibility of getting pregnant..
She has had 5 periods regularly, though 1st got a bit delayed.. After 5 months she has upset tummy, had vomitting once n threw out her dinner n lower back ache from 2 days.. And also has cold.. Any chances of pregnancy..?? PLEASE HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE..

Can you drink if you've taken an hCG injection?

I have been doing fertility treatments. Last tuesday I took my hCG shot. I know for a fact that I ovulated, HOWEVER, I ovulated from the side that I have a blocked tube, so there is NO chance of pregnancy. I would like to have a few drinks over the holidays, anyone know if this is something that should be avoided due to side effects on me?

I am NOT pregnant, I would never drink if I thought there was even a chance that I could be.

How do I know that I ovulated from the blockes side? Huge cramps, swelling and discomfort (on that side)!

my son is 4years old and i have come to realise he might have OCD but ain't 2 sure these are a few things that he does

. he won't eat any thing if it is broke
. he won't eat off anything if it has a little scratch on
. he has to take his top off when having a poo just incase he gets poo on his top
. wen he gets in bed he has to have his blankets perfectly straight , and if he wakes in the night and they ain't sraight he will scream the place down untill i put them on straight

do u think this is a form of OCD
