Professional sounding names... boys preferred?
I need help figuring out some names to suggest to a friend... She wants something professional sounding... She has Pierce, Preston, Carter, Cullen, Houston, and Jase so far.... What do you think? Can you name more professional sounding names (boys preferred but girls too)?

I think Jase isn't that professional sounding, but I like it. Houston is kind of odd, kind of not. If some child told me that was his name I wouldn't know what to think of his mom, if she's from Houston and is paying tribute or she's some young girl who decided to name him after the controversial one hit wonder singer, Houston.

My daughter is 6 wks old and she is breastfed. The past couple nights she had played all nighters with me, last night being the longest 1am-1pm sleeping a half hour to hour most, screaming and crying most of the time. When i checked her diaper it appeared like there was some blood in her urine, it was an orangeish pink type of color. I called the nurse and Im waiting for the doctor to call me back. The nurse said she was going to page the doctor because i told her about the crying and screaming. Has anyone ever expierenced this?

Hi my daughter Serenity does not want to use her potty!She shows so interest in it. But she does tell me when she went to the washroom and she comes in the washroom with me when I go and she says "mommy pee pee" and passes me the toilet paper.
She is really smart and has always caught on with things so quickly. And now when she goes #2 she puts her hands in her diaper and says "wash hands?" ahhhh...I need to get her potty trained...please help with some good ideas!

I'm at the age where everyone I know is starting to have babies (late 20's early 30's) and it's not something that I EVER think about other than how gross I would feel with a pregnant belly and how ugly I would look with stretch marks and baby fat! I just don't understand WHY anyone would want to go through that for a baby. Not only that but you don't have your own life for years after the kid comes.

Am I the only one who feels this way or are there other women out there who don't want kids for these reasons?

They're names are all of Celtic/Irish origin, and they're all girl names.

Bec (rhymes with "deck")- means "little one"

Aideen (aid-een)- feminine form of "Aidan" meaning "little fire"

Cera (keer-ra, like "keira")- means "friend"

Orna (or-nah)- means "little one"

My favourite is Bec, but it seems kinda short for a first name. I really love Cera Aideen and Orna Bec as names.

Of course my son is only 5 months old right now, but I really would like to get to 2 years with him nursing. That is my ultimate goal. If we only make it to 1 year, that's fine also, but I would really like to go beyond that. Can anyone give me links to the benefits of going to 2 years old? So far I've only heard that 1 years old is benficial, though I've heard of other women nursing to 2+ years and beyond. Why is this? A comfort reason or more for a health reason?

My stepdaughter has been living with her mother now for 3 years, without anyone else but her other two children in the home. CPS has taken the children once, and they were returned to her because they were all three molested by their fosrter parent. Now the judge will not allow them to be removed aain. It seems that the worse the situation, the more steadfast the judge is about not removing the kids. When we went to court this morning it was to support the worker in trying to get them removed. i had to have my stepduaghter's hair cut and treated for lice last time she was here, becuz they were all over her body. She had a cut on the bottom of her foot, and it didn't look like her mom had trid to treat it at all. She said she stepped on a can lid. I have had to go get her at 3 a.m. because her mother's bf went nuts and ripped out a handful of the girls hair a well as beating on her other two children and breaking the eldests nose.

i am 13 and i just got a beating for talking back. my grandma went and got a switch pulled me over her knee and yanked my pants down and i got it good i learned my lesson and my butt hurts. should she have done that it was so embarresing it was at my family nite where every one saw it and she told me to wait till my grandpa gets home so in a few hours im du for a belt smacking
