I think it's very pretty.
I love the name Marie, even though it's very common. It's classy and elegant, and although I'm not usually a fan of the name Rhiannon, it works really well with Marie. Rhiannon is a really elegant name, with a bold and strong meaning.
Reanna, which is similar to Rhiannon, works well with Marie too. Reanna Marie :) You can find some more similar names to Rhiannon here, just in case you're unsure about Rhiannon. http://www.behindthename.com/php/related.php?name=rhiannon
I think it's a very cute and elegant combination, and it would work perfectly for any baby girl! Gratz on your baby!

Rhiannon is more common than people think! It is also a famous song by Stevie Nicks (of Fleet Wood Mac Which I am sure you know if not listen to the song it is Awesome) But in my opinion Rhiannon Marie doesn't flow. It is your child and maybe depending upon your last name it will sound fine. My last name is unusual and it took me a while to pick my son's name. Good Luck and remember your child might grow up to dislike her name. I think Rhiannon is a great name,But I think Marie is a little plain to go with it. However that is only my opinion.

Rhiannon is gorgeous, but Marie seems too predictable a filler to pair with it. If it's a family name, totally workable, but if not I'd likely look for something more in line with Rhiannon. ;)
Assuming it does hold special significance, why not consider an equally-intriguing Welsh form? Still an obvious nod to Marie, whomever she may be, but far more fitting with the first name. For example:
Rhiannon Mair (MIER, with a long "i" sound, if you aren't familiar)
Rhiannon Mairwen
Rhiannon Mari
Or even simply another Celtic form:
Rhiannon Maire/Moira
Rhiannon Maura
Rhiannon Mairi
Just a thought. ;)

I wouldn't tell anyone about the Fl Mac connection. Blech.
Rhiannon is what--Irish? I think it's absolutely beautiful. Every language changes the names to reflect their linguistics--If you were in Ireland, many years ago (rhiannon is an old name), how did they spell Marie, and how did they change it to reflect the date and language? Research and use that as a middle name, because Marie is French, I think, and not at all parallel to rhiannon.
If you're going to use an Irish name, use both Irish names. That's my 2cents.
P.S. Naming a child after family is cool.

I like the name but would probably shorten it to Riana Marie, or Reanna Marie or something like that. My name is Arrenia Marie and the "i" in my first name is silent. Friends and new acquaintances call me "Rena" because my real first name is so long and complicated to some people. Just remember that if you go with the name Rhiannon then most people are probably going to want to shorten it somehow because it has so many syllables in it.
