Rice is perfectly fine!!!!!!! (Look at all the chinese women)...
Do, however, stay away from a lot of tuna fish or other sea fish because of mercury, caffeine & liver (that's what I was told by my Dr.). Good luck! Eat several small healthy meals a day (breakfast, snack 2 hrs. later, lunch, snack 2 hours later, dinner, snack 2 hours later)rather than 3 large ones & this may help the morning sickness. If it's really severe in the morning, put crackers by your bed.. Eat them before you get out of bed & rise for the morning slowly.

Rice is fine and good for you and the baby. Stay away from fish that contain large amounts of mercury like tuna and shell fish. It has been known to cause fetal death. Thats what I was told by the doctor when I was pregnant. Starchy foods will help the morning sickness. And if it gets very bad suck on lemon candies .

Yes you can eat rice. You can eat just about whatever you want as long as it is cooked properly and you eat in moderation. Clearly if you eat like 500 pounds of rice in one day that is just not good for you but other than that anything in moderation is good.

Yes. Try eating several small meals through out the day. Sometimes pregnant women have inconsitent blood sugars and that makes them get morning sickness. Good luck with your pregnancy.

My dr. didn't say anything about not eating rice when I went to see her on Friday. I have a friend like that too who thinks they know everything about pregnancy I've only known I've been pregnant for 1 week and she is already driving me crazy!! :)

Uh yeah.

I live in Korea and let me tell you, if pregnant women couldn't eat rice there wouldn't be any KOREANS!

I found that rice porridge was really easy on my stomach when I had bad morning sickness.

Of course you can! It's just a regular carb/starch like pasta or bread. If you're having morning sickness, just stick with bland foods and rice is a good example of bland, lol.

Yes. Rice is completely safe, everyone tries to give you know-it-all advice when you're pregnant, I used to get so sick of hearing all of the myths.

They say you can't eat a lot of things when you're pregnant due to bacteria infections. I've eaten whatever I've felt like for example: sushi, soft serve ice-cream, raw oysters, feta cheese, coke etc etc

As long as you have these things in moderation then you will be fine.
