Get him a soccer ball or you can just buy him a game, like Dominos or something. Everybody loves those things. (:
If you really can't find anything else, ask him what he would like.
Oh-- I KNOW!-- maybe you can get him a giftcard to a sports shop or something.
Or you can get him sport clothes, sweatpants, etc.

how about a gift card to some place like walmart or a gaming store? that way he could pick out what he wants....

I'd say skip it and buy YOURSELF something...but if you must what about an ipod. They are cheap now.
