I do not have children, but am a preschool teacher. A child came up to me, a child who is normally very quiet. He says, "I have a song for you!" I was like what is it? He starts singing, "Janie's got a gun!." I was so caught off guard. I told him, we do not talk about guns at school!!! I thought he was going to sing me the ABCs or something.

My 4 year old son is doing so good about keeping the secrets of presents under the tree. Each time I teasingly ask him he just replies that I'll find out on Christmas. Well, today a jewelry commercial came on TV and he said "Hey, we have that under our tree" and I just couldn't help but laugh. He feels so bad that he made me promise--PROMISE--not to tell Dad.

actually it was my son this evening. i was up stairs talking with my husband before he went to work and my son needed help with a game on the computer ( he is 4) I told him to weight a minute. Then he came up stairs and started crying because he said I was giving daddy to much mommy daddy time and he wasn't getting enough mommy Joshua time. It was so funny. Of course I went right down to give him the love he needed.
