How far along are you? After 35 weeks, the movement does decrease because they are running out of room. I would definitely call your OB and have a kick count ready for him so he can have concrete information. I think they are supposed to move at least 10 times per hour. Also the suggestions on eating something spicy or sweet and then laying down are excellent ones. Many times baby will be rocked to sleep when mom is on the go, or you may be too busy to notice every movement. Lying down after eating should get her going. That's when mine usually starts up. Best wishes to you.

drink a glass of orange juice and count kicks for an hour. lay down and keep track of the number of kicks you get during each 10 minute period within that hour. Then call you doctor and ask if the number you got is normal for your babies gestational age. Orange juice is best to get the b aby moving.

I wish I could be more help but I don't have any of my papers around to check how many kicks you should be feeling. I do know that you aren't supposed to feel all of the kicks.

Your baby may be sleeping. Try counting kicks and then check with your doctor, they will let you know, just call the regular number you would call your doctor at, they should have someone on call to answer the phone.

Well first of all how far along are you?
And if your in your last few months you are suppose to be doing the fetal movements...be in a sitting down position and keep calm and still and put your hands on your belly and count how many movements you get in a half an hour. If you don't get any I would go to the hospital right away, But if its still early in ur pregnancy like 4,5,6 months then don't worry.

How far along are you? You didn't say. As long as you have felt her today, then she's fine. Sometimes you get busy and you miss movements. If you're worried, have a glass of orange juice or something sweet and lay on the couch and count. As long as you get 2 kicks in an hour all is well with the world.

lay down. what happens is when the mother is walking around a lot, the baby is getting rocked in the belly. so they fall asleep. but when the mother lies down then the baby stretches and moves and is active. ur baby is probably just tired.
P.S. this is also why when a baby is born, they are used to sleeping during the day and being awake during the night. cuz the mother is laying down for 9 months at night and walking around for 9 months during the day.

Don't panic. There are some days where I don't feel my little boy very much and then there are days where I swear he doesn't stop moving. How far along are you? It seems like the further along you get the more you feel them moving. Give it another day or two, but just relax and stay calm. It's probably nothing to worry about. Good luck to you. =)

It really depends on how far along you are. Which you did not mention if you are anywhere in your last 10 weeks its normal for the baby not to move as often. You should call your doctor to be on the safe side either way. Good luck

drink orange juice, sit down and if you don't feel her within 20-30 minutes go to the doctor. The sugar in the OJ should make her become active, if she is not, there may be something wrong, and it is best not to wait.

I would say that as long as you have felt her move then don't worry.....she's probably just having a lazy day. If you are still concerned in a couple of days then go and see your doctor for piece of mind. Good luck.
