This morning i was taking my sons to school there in the 5th and 6th grade, we was running late, my husband took them in and i set in the car i had the windows down, this car pulled up behind me, i heard the woman talking to her self getting out, she was fussing saying....i had to drive all the way here and something else i couldent understand her so anyway a few min latter she walks out with her daughter talking loud and laughing she said yeah your a woman now, well have to get you a cake that says period day, and she kept saying real loud your a woman now its period day, the little girl was so embarrased, i just looked at the mom and shook my head like your an idiot, i couldent believe what i was seeing......what would you have done if you heard a mom acting like that?

I took my newborn in for his 2 week check up on monday, he was yellow , did biliruben test and it was high. dr told me to stop breastfeeding for 2 days and supplement with formula. did it and my newborns jaundice is going away.

The dr told me that he was dehydrated thats why he was yellow. he asked if i had enough milk....i think i do...after each feeding im still leaking!!

im so sad now because i dont think my milk is good and i dont want to give him formula i want to continue to breastfeed!!

does anyone know of anything i can eat or drink to make my milk "good"? i asked the dr and he said no but i think there is

i do eat healthy just incase anyone asks!!

im so hurt and sad please!!any advice would be appreciated

I am just a little worried... I am going to have to rethink the way I eat entirely. I don't eat a lot of junk, but A LOT of things have carbohydrates and I know how limited those are when you have gestational diabetes. Thanks for your answers!

I don't get why people advertise on a mobile car where their kids are located. Its just like a noen flashing sign that says, my kid is at this school. Doesn't it help kidnappers? I just hate those signs so much and think parents should be more responsible on whom they are telling to the location of there kids. Because if your at lets say walmart during the day and your car tells kidnappers where your kids are, surely they know you are not with your kids and have a greater opportunity to snatch your kid. What are is your opinion?

A helmet for biking is undeniably wise, but what about on a skateboard? "Better safe than sorry" is an obvious response, but aren't we taking something away from childhood when we overprotect our kids? Do we wrap them in bubble-wrap every morning before we send them out into the world?

Ok so I am starting to realize that if I make my own baby food it would be SOO much cheaper. But how?? My doc said just buy the stuff like squash, and stuff and boil it and mash it. But how long do you boil it for?? what do you do with it?? Cause I know they don't eat a whole squash. How long is it good for?? What all things can you buy and make into baby food besides like bananas and squash?? What else is there? how do you do pears and peaches, sweet potatoes, green beans?? Please help. Thanks

My best friend has three children the oldest is a girl 7 years old, and two boy's ages 3 and 5. The oldest daughter is being beat by the boy's father. My emotions run deep for this family. I will do as much as possible to help but I'm not sure if I will make a good decision. These are my decisions either call cps, take that child away from here or give her the option to get rid of him or the friendship is over. What would you do or sugguest? So, long story short: My husband had a vasectomy with previous wife and now had it reversed so we can start a family. Results came and his sperm count is fine, but the boys have a bad morphology so we have to go for Artificial Insemination. The doc says we might still get preggo by ourselves, but it can take years. I have Endometrioses and had it lasered off last year, but it can come back.

SO... Should we just leave charting and counting and EVERYTHING till January and go for AI and just chill now. Or would you say go for it now?!? I dont know?!

Ok so i had been dating this guy for 6 months he is a single father for his 2 year old daughter. We had problems steming from how he raised her. Now we are back together and i don't want to step on any toes so i pretty much just don't try and say anything about her actions or what he should do, i've realized it is not my place so i just butt out of it.
i just don't know completly what to do (i have no children) but i do babysitt a lot. So should i step in and play the whole "mommy" role for her, since she's never had one, or should i just keep out of it?
I would appreciate it if the answers i get are not so much mean but can just help me out, i'm in a huge predicament and don't know what i should do. I love both of them very much and want us all to stay together.

is it safe to marterbate when you're in the first month or few weeks?? i heard that if you do you can lose a baby easily that way. kind of like abortion but the baby isn't really made at all yet.

Ok...Im 33 weeks pregnant. Also, it was confirmed by an ultrasound (first-time). I dont have periods...So in that gestation age would the extra 2-3 weeks be added into it as it would in an normal pregnancy for someone who HAS periods STILL be added into how far along I am? So to speak that I have "technically" been pregnant for 30-32 weeks?

Anyone ever conceived on their first round of Clomid?? I always see people on several rounds, b/c it didnt work. I know I ovulated this much, I am actually 1 dpo, i had horrible pain in BOTH of my ovaries.. so i was just wondering if this ha dhappened to anyone, and if they did conceive their first round, I took it days 5-9. Thanks!!

My best friend just found out she is pregnant...it was unexpected and we have been going out drinking...not very much but at least a couple of times. I'm scared that we may have hurt the baby...she obviously isnt drinking now or anything but what do you think the chances are of the baby being affected by a couple of drinks??

I am now officially 3 dpo!!!!!!!!! I ovulated day 20 (Tuesday). I am so excited. I was just wanting to let those that have followed my story know and if anyone has some inspiring words or prayers that would be useful. Also, should I have my progesterone levels checked? My doctor didn't mention having it done but should I call and ask them to schedule it? Is it really needed? I had boarderline low levels of progesterone on a test a few months back but I also didn't ovulate each cycle. I am taking Clomid so that should help with this. I think my doctor would have mentioned it if it was a problem. Just wanted some imput. Thanks again for all of you that care so much. I am praying for all those ttc. It is a very hard time. Oh yeah another one of my cousins thinks she may be pregnant (That would make me having 3 pregnant cousins right now). I want to be happy for them but it is hard. I see it as a test from God. Thanks again!!

For those of you that don't know me. I miscarried the first week of september, and I didn't take clomid or any other fert. meds this cycle and we really weren't tryig to get pregnant at all this month. Just BD'ing when we were in the mood. We just os happen to have been "in the mood" on Monday. FF says I Finally ovulated, was beginning to think it wouldn't happen this month. In fact I have an appt with my doc on thursday for a consult and to get provera to induce my period and another round of clomid. Do you think I actually ovulated? I use the clearblue Fert, Monitor and I gave up on testing cause I kept getting "high" with no "peak" or spike in temp. Also I dont chart CP or CM never got the hang of that.

Anyhow, do you think FF is right?

I dry pail, and wash every two days at the latest, and they come out lovely and clean, and still super white, but just a bit niffy (of the wee I imagine, not the ahem, other stuff). Is there anythign I can add to the soap powder in the machine to fragrance them a little, without causing irritation or shortening the life of the nappies? Any and all suggestions gratefully received!

It never ceases to amaze me just how many moms are so quick to tell you how to raise your child and think b/c they have a child, they know everything. I experienced this very often and am just sick of it. Any of you experience this?
