has anyone takin fertile aid to help them concieve? Did it work?

You mean the vitamin supplement? I highly recommend checking with your Dr. first. I started Vitex a few weeks ago and now out of the blue I have Gallstones and am in severe pain. I am not saying the vitex caused them (can't find any link between vitex and gallstones) but they are the only thing that has changed in my diet. It is best to check with a health professional before taking any herbal supplements.

Well in my case, a shot or pill would never work. I was diagnosed with POF Premature Ovarian Failure (ran out of eggs). The only thing I could do was get donor eggs and they did invitro fertilization (using my husband's sperm). Out of 3 times going through the procedure, I was blessed twice, a daughter and then 2 1/2 years later a son.

Have you talked to your ob/gyn? How long have you been trying? Your ob/gyn might refer you to a fertility specialist. Good Luck!

Yes they do, I have taken Clomid before with one pregnancy and it worked for me. I had twins. I just took Metformin. I have POS (poly-cystic ovaries) and this medicine Metformin had some new studies to work and I tried it out. After taking it 1 1/2 month, I conceived. I'm now due 5/28/08. So yes, it does work. You will have to go through several cycles and it is a bit emotional. You must have patience and work with your doctor. Good luck

Nope. I don't plan on using fertility drugs to get pregnant. They are bad and can cause you to have multiples. Plus some fertility drugs aren't even guaranteed to work with some women so it's a waste of time and money. Plus my husband is under the impression that they could give me cancer. TTC for 1 year naturally.

Yes. I took Clomid. It worked the very first time. Luckily I only had one baby, not multiples! Good Luck.
