me and my boyfriend had sex the day before my expected period. but now i am almost a week and a half late. we used a condom.. i am just not sure and am really worried do you think i could be pregnant? or does having sex delay my period? ahhh help!

Friends of mine are having a baby, they are white, but they are not Italian, and they want to name him Giovanni. I'm meeting up with them soon, and while I don't want to impugn upon their choices, I just wanted to give them advice and forewarnings. So I'm seeking advice here, what do you think, can he? ok so im 37 weeks and my boyfriends mom( a nurse) had been telling me that she thinks i may be in my early stage of labor; befor the hospital will actually admitt u. and i have been having contrations but havent timed them cause when i have in the past there iregular. however they are starting from the lower back the work there way to the lower front like true labor contrations do but they have been like that in the past too, pluse i have been having sharp percing pains on my cervix all day and my dr. said that im at one cm and that was on thursday and the contrations dont stop when i change activity or any of that like they say they should if its false. i dont think i am in realll labor but its my first so im not really going to know so if any one has any advice of wheather i am or not and if i should go to labor and delivery to see if i am i could really use the advice. im just really confused and need help. by the way hes due oct 22( or so they say)

my ear thermometer is reading 96.0 temp in my 1 year olds ear but i dont know if this is accurate or not!!!but under the arm it reads 98.0 which one should i believe??

I am 27 yrs old, married, and 6 mths pregnant. My problem is that I am deathly scared of giving birth. I have heard so many horror stories about the pain and the pain of the epidural. I feel so panicked and scared like I'm going to pass out. I have had nightmares about this.. I need some advice on how to ease my anxiety about this. I really feel like crying when I think about it but I am so anxious to meet my little baby boy. Help please because I feel like I'm losing it.

five and half month baby fell fro sofa, what to do? He fell from a sofa to the carpet floor, about 13 inches high, He didn't cry at all and everything seems to be normal, like eating and playing. no lumps. Fathers name Jason James Nebinger, Mothers name Krystal Lindsey Porter. I know both names are common but I was kinda goin for something that isnt common. I will probably use the fathers last name so

Sometimes it seems like the name should sound good with the last name so I was hopeing it would help... but if you want we can do names for the last name of "Porter" too!
Thanks... I have found a few names I like... I like the name Jakayla for a girl, Kamdyn or Kamden for a boy. Only because "J" for the fathers name.. and "K" for the mothers.. But it doesnt have to be that way, so any ideas.. Thank you sooo much!

My son is 3 mths and has reflux (now improved due to zantac) and colic (now begining to subside) He's been so used to falling asleep on us b/c of the colic and reflux that he now screams himself to sleep if we're not holding him. If we pick him up he drops off to sleep. How do I break him of this now he's getting better. Help.....Lisa

OMG, I'm not bragging or anything my my Dad is a lawyor and my family is really wealthy but they still make me pay for things! And this just started happening recently! He used to give me his credit card whenever I needed to go shopping! He bought me a car for my sweet 16. Now all of a sudden he is making me pay for my cell phone, gas, and he won't pay for me to go shopping anymore! I didn't do anything to cause this punishment! My 9 yr old daughter has always been very....spirited. She talks non stop and is easily distracted from simple tasks like brushing her teeth or getting dressed. It takes her forever to do the smallest task because she gets sidelined so many times. She may be borderline ADD but at this point I don't feel she needs medication as she does well in school.

What can I do to keep our school mornings running smoothly and keep her focused on the task at hand, besides yelling..."C'mon Summer, brush you teeth!" I get tired of repeating myself and she gets tired of me constantly badgering her to get done.

What can I do to help her??

I'm 34 weeks and 4 days pregnant and I've felt weird lately. Over the last week, I've started getting these really bad headaches and they seem to get worse by the day. I've had nausea off and on in the past three days. Just yeaterday I've had diarrhea and today I have a stuffy nose. I don't have allergies at this time of the year. I've heard some women have flu-like symptoms a few days before labor but I haven't had contractions for even an hour apart. I can't ask my doctor about this until tomorrow so thats why I'm asking on here. Could this be a true cold?

My 4 month old is 16 lbs w/ 104.5 rectal temp. I gave him .04 of tylen. this is his 4th day w/ fever. each day it seems to get higher! He's conjested, lethargic and seems to have a sore throat. (hard time swollowing, crying, coughing) I took him to ER last night, where I was told to only give him tylenol once a day as it will make him more sick in the long run and his body wont fight infection. Is this true? My son seems misrable and sometimes almost lifeless.....Can anyone help me, with some kind of answer? I have paged his doctor 3 times with no responce! I do not want to go back down to ER it is truly not necesarry and I am just an overly conerned mom?!??!!

I've been abstainate for a lil over 2 1/2 years now. For the past couple of months, I have these signs/symptoms of a pregnant person.... I've talked to a couple of friends about it, and they swear up and down I'm pregnant. But it's NOT POSSIBLE. Here are a few of the things I've been dealing with:
- no period since July
- abnormal food cravings
- loss of appetite
- smelling food makes me nauseous
- morning sickness
It's weird. You know how they say guys will take on some of the signs/symptoms if they got somebody pregnant??? Well, they say that here, anyway... But I was thinkin' maybe somebody really close to me may be pregnant, or something. Maybe I'm just sick as hell. Whoknows.... Any opinions?

To make sure they have pencils,pens...
They are in the 6th grade.
All of a sudden,I found a note that said:
