i am about 35wks pregnant and every once in awhile i have some green looking discharge has anyone had this im not sure what it is but i think my baby girl is about to be here soon what do you guys think please be serious!

i have not had it all the time it is like once in a while kinda thing my doc already checkede hav me for all the stds and i have been on antibiotics for an infection so im not sure if thats it my freind said that it is my mucous plug so im not sure!

It's the mucus plug. I would just give a call tomarrow to your Dr. and let them know what is going on just in case they want to check you. Congrats!
When you say green, is it infected snot green, or a slight tint? Usually the mucus plug is a yellowish white and towards the end it can be tinted with blood. Green can be an infection.

Green discharge could signify an infection of some kind.
Yellow-ish, thick discharge, however, could be your mucus plug, which sometimes comes out slowly, instead of all at once. If it is your mucus plug, having it come out at 35 weeks is perfectly normal. It doesn't necessarily indicate that labor is imminent. You can lose your mucus plug several weeks before the baby actually comes.
At your next appointment, ask your doctor to check for infections or STDs, just to be on the safe side.

I'm only 29 weeks along, and I've not experienced any green discharge. Your doctor will tell you all the way along that if your discharge takes on any color that you should call him. It's not necessarily a sign of soon to be labor.
Ask your doctor about your colorful discharge and make sure that you're still healthy and fine.

i had some yellowish green discharge about 2 week all the way up 2 the day my water broke but i was already 2 cm 2 weeks b4 2.. i say go 2 ur dr asap and if it started 2 get worst go to the er

go see your doc. it could be leaking and the amniotic fluid is stained with baby's first poo which can be a sign of baby being in distress. don't wanna freak you out tho. put on a pad, lie down for about an hour and then get up and walk around doing stuff and check pad. if there is more there go see your doc. or it could be your mucus plug coming out. either way see your doc just to settle your mind.

I've had 3 children and never had a green discharge. I agree that you should call you Dr. ASAP. Congrats

Green? Do you really mean green? Call you OB/GYN in the morning and ask if you should be seen in the office.

go to the doctors, ur discharge should be white not green.
