Is it true that most Latin mothers choose not to circumcise their babies. If so why is that? is it cultural. and in general do Latin women like uncircumcised men better?

I have no clue. I think an uncircumcised penis looks disgusting, just my opinion. Probably a cultural thing I would imagine though.

It's only really in the USA, and the Jewish and Muslim religions, that it's a cultural thing. In most of the rest of the world it is rare and this includes South America so generally Latinas do not circumcise, no.

Most Latina mothers do not circumcise their baby sons. Nor do most European mothers. Or Asian mothers. Or African mothers. Or Canadian mothers or Aussie mothers.

This barbaric procedure is rare outside the US, Israel, and Muslim areas. There is NO good reason to cut part of a baby's penis off! And Latinas are not the only women who prefer natural men: See http://www.healthcentral.com/drdean/408/60750.html for a study that showed that 9 out of 10 women thought sex was better with a guy who had not been cut!

My sons are not circumcised and I'm not Latino. I do have Latino friends and their sons aren't circumcised either. I think it's because most of the men in the world aren't. Circumcision is really just an American thing predominantly now, aside from religious practices. Most baby boys in the world (and now 45%+ in the United States) are NOT circumcised. So it's not exactly rare or unusual.

Because they're not Jewish? It's about half and half nowadays for ALL babies. Hispanic or not. The rates of circumcision are sharply on the decline despite some people's beliefs. I'm a LPN and I see a lot of uncircumcised babies, children and men. It's not just "latinos". haha. It's everyone.

My son is not circumcised either. It's not a big deal.

I'm going to preface this with the fact that I am not a latina...but was curious so here goes. My boys are NOT circumcised. I think it is cruel and barbaric. To each their own and my husband is cut but there IS ABSOLUTELY NO CHANGE IN SEX. I have been with both. I truly don't understand why it is still common. My boys have had no medical issues (bladder infections or tightening of foreskin) that required this. I made a deal with my husband that if he wanted to have them snipped...he could hold them down and watch while the Dr snipped a part of their penis off. This is done not in the hospital at birth where I live but done at the 2 week checkup at a Dr's office. Again...cruel and barbaric. And to the butthole that says it's because they are on medicaid...you, my dear, are a poor pathetic little creature.

Most latinas are catholic and the only people in the world who circumcise are jewish people, muslims, and some americans. There is also no need to circumsize.

Because a normal penis isn't weird or in need of alteration to them. It's Americans and people of "industrialized" countries who have body issues.

It's not necessary. It's cosmetic. Many think it's stupid.

My "latina" friend's sons are both circumcised- so is her latino husband. She prefers men that way... she grew up in the US, though, so if you are asking about "true" latinas, I'm not sure.

You seem to be asking a lot of questions on circumsicion, I've answered another one of yours. I don't recommend using Yahoo answers to help you decide whether or not to circumcise your child, if that's why you're asking. This is a very anti-circ site, and you won't get unbiased answers. This is a decision best made after looking at the facts, and/or talking to your doctor. That's what we did. ;o)
