I know you cannot estimate when you will go into labour going by how dilated you are, BUT would you be likely to go into labour soon if you are dilating at a reasonable speed. 2 weeks ago my cervix was closed and now it is about 4cm dilated. I am 35 weeks pregnant and was in hospital 2 weeks ago with early contractions that they stopped. This is my 3rd child.

ok: the dr gave me a muscle relaxer called phengrin for nausuea and the side effects is drowsyness and it knocks me out when i take it. well: traditanally i give my daughter who is 20 monthes old and 26 pounds benadryl for plane rides. but the one i am taking tuesday is 6 hours long and i was wondering if it would be k to crush alittle tiny bit of my nausuea meds in her drink so she would sleep longer. i am not trying to kill my child i just want her to sleep cuz she is so rowdy on teh plane andi am 29 week spregnant and single so i am just asking please dont judge me i am just trying to find out sum info.

My three year old gets m&m's, oreos, marshmallows, and cake icing from Grandma's house. Grandma lives just around the corner, so we're there almost every day, sometimes two or three times.

I'd like to add some healthy choices to what she has in her house to make it easier to cut back on the sugar my daughter gets there. But if I try to offer an apple when she wants an oreo, my daughter will not be interested.

So, are there healthier alternatives that still seem like a special treat? For instance, are yogurt covered raisins really any healthier than m&m's? Can anyone suggest something more "fun" than regular fruit (which she gets at home) but not as hideous for her as oreos and candy?

Me and my boyfriend want to have another child, but I will not have another until we agree on a name. Jimmy (my boyfriend) wants to name our next child because I named our first born, Zach.
If its a boy, he wants to name it Dallas, Ryan, Daniel, or Troy.
If its a girl, he wants to name it Hilary, Carmen, Nicole, or Trisha.

I agree with Ryan, Daniel, and Nicole.
But he really likes Hilary and Dallas. I think those are disgusting names (no offense to anyone)

I like the boy names Eric, Jesse, and Kyle
and the girl names Erika, Madison, and Victoria (tori for sort)

idk if im really pregnant because my last period was Aug 5th and Aug 20 i had sex then after that i started to get the preg symptoms and then a week later i bled for 3 days and all month long my boobs were soar and stuff and then my tummy grew and my boobs im gaining weight and now i just started to bleed is this normal am i really preg?

I appreciate your attempt to answer my question in regards to adoption. To answer your question. Yes I am very involved in the lives of my nieces and nephews and that is very rewarding. From reading some of your answers to adoption questions it seem that you have a negative outlook on adoption alltogether. I'm not trying to get personal with your business or circumstances. I'm sure there are many cases where people have been hurt emotionally by adoption but have you concidered all of the people adopted into loving families that have benefited. I'm not seeking an infant that was concieved for me. If I choose to adopt I would be looking for a child who is needing a home. I would not be trying to force my identity on someone else. But I have a patience and ability to care for and love. If I am capable why shouldn't I help someone in need? I'm not a perfect person so I couldn't offer a perfect life. But who could?

The first day of my last period was 9/19. According to one of those free online ovulation calendars I am in my ovulation days. 9/29-10/4 (10/3 being the highest ovulation day). I am wetter than usual today with a very HIGH sex drive today (had to have it!!) The thing is I messed up my pills last month and just thought I would start fresh after I get my next period. Does anyone think I goofed? I just have to wait it out, huh? I am not trying to get pregnant. I have only been 'seeing' this guy for 5 months and it is not a relationship.

I feel horrible to even post this, as I know I should be grateful people care enough to keep giving me stuff...

People have been giving us a lot of second hand stuff they have been picking up at garage sales and stuff. I am all for second hand clothes, second hand blankets, etc... but the other day I got a swing from someone that just completely fell apart when I went to clean it. If mild pressure from a rag is going to make it collapse, I would hate to see what would happen if my daughter pulled up on it someday. We've gotten a lot of totally filthy older items that look like they have been stored in a garage for years. I do appreciate people thinking of my family, but... I just don't want my daughter to get hurt or sick on some of this stuff. How do you tell someone you don't want any more large items secondhand, especially when they know you don't have that item yet. I would feel rude saying 'please shake the object and make sure it doesn't collapse before you buy it?' Any ideas?
