Cathy-Lynn or Catherine Lynn but Cath-Lynn doesn't have a ring to it. It needs another syllable.

I don't care for it. My name is Kathleen and people always call me kat which I just hate. Use Kathleen or Katherine but Cath doesn't sound good, I've been called that but only by my bestest freinds.

It doesn't seem to fit right together....plus cath reminds me of catherization which is a type of heart procedure....or maybe i've just worked at a hospital to long hehe:)

I personally dont like it. I mean cath is short for catheter! If it was together like Cathlynn-that's not bad.
