Should we spell it Brea or Breah?
Bria is not an option. My husband's name is Ian and he hates it because people always make it a long I instead of a long E.

Why is it that people are giving answers to a question I didn't ask?
I didn't ask if anyone liked the name. I asked what spelling was better.
Thank you to the people who answered about the spelling.
Oh, and by the way the water filter is a BRITA.

Why not go with Breea I think that is cute & a better way to spell it. If not then Brea!

What a cute name!
How about Briea or Breyah? Out of your choices, Breah.
Maybe reconsider Bria because Brea is like the La Brea (Bray-ah) Tar Pits, and I'm not digging the H at the end of Breah. However, you start adding more vowels in to get the desired sound, it gets dicey looking and confusing.

Well,
"Brea" will be pronounced "Bray" by alot of people.
So I guess "Breah" sounds good, even though it kind of looks like "breath" if you don't read carefully=)
I think "Bria" is a pretty way of spelling it.
With the "I" in the middle, instead of the beginning like "Ian," it won't be mispronounced as much=)

I think you should spell it Brea.
I agree with your husband about the spelling of Bria. My name is Bria and some people cant even remember it or say it wrong.I hate my name but I dont think I'll change it.Though its a name I would never name my kid, I like that its unique.Good luck with the baby!

Brea is also a city and it's pronounced "Bray-a".
