I have been asked to be the cheer leading coach for my daughters team. My son plays on the football team. None of the mothers want to do it. If there is no coach there cannot be a cheer leading squad. I told the lady I would do it if none of the other mothers are willing to. I don't want to disappoint my little girl, she has been looking forward to this since last year. when she did it. I do not want to do it but for her I will. What do you think about a dad being the cheer leading coach?

before we start NO this is not about me and i dont care about the " u should pay for child support "

now to the question:::
my GF was telling me a story that if the dad of a kid can get the mom to sig a paper it will mean he gaves up all his rights to the baby and a plus to this is that he never has to pay child support (if that is so can the mom do it to the dad ? )

i have looked all over the internet but have not seen any thing about a paper or any other way of getting out of it only thing i every find is poeple saying "how u should pay for child support"

some have said u can gave up ur rights but u will always have to pay for child support (as long as the mom want to cont for it)

i do know that if the dad moves out of the USA it will be real hard for them to make the dad pay harder to find him that way lol

and plus say where u get ur info from if from a website plz gave the address ty for ur help with this

I've told my hubby from day 1 that if our child is a boy, I want to name him Connor. Our 2 1/2 year old's name is Aidan and what sounds better with Aidan than Connor?!
Aidan's middle name is Joseph (same middle name as my husband).
I want the next one to have my dads name as a middle name- John.

Aidan Joseph DeMarre
and
Connor John DeMarre

.... Does Connor John sound okay together though?

China, long known for it's rigorous adoption requirements, has now imposed a BMI standard so that you can't be fat and adopt a child.

Can anyone argue as to why that's a good idea? It seems to me that being raised by overweight parents would be better than being raised in an orphanage, but maybe I'm missing something. Thoughts?

he is scared of monsters, snakes, spiders, ect. it started a couple of nights ago he woke up probably after a nightmare about monsters screaming. now even if he is in mom&dad bed he is scared. for instance a monster, crying and actually points to the floor and saying right there! or snakes inthe bed and curls his feet up out of the covers shaking legs stiff, then pick him up and legs are still stiff pulled up as far as he can.
kinda freaks us out too!
during the day he is fine nothing scared of. just seems to be when its time to go to sleep. because this behavor happens at nap time during the day.
does this sound normal? its not like a generic I am scared of this or that, its there is a monster right there next to the night stand!

Well my mom is kinda strict so I tend to get grounded a lot. Like if she tells me to do something more than twice or if she feels I'm not respecting her enough, I get grounded. That means no phone, friends, TV, internet for usually that day, and the day after.

Well a week ago, I got grounded for forgetting to mail something my mom told me to mail. She told me to just go up and take a shower. I took a nice, long, warm one. When I came out, my clothes were replaced with my school uniform (skirt, polo, dress socks). I went to find other clothes to change into, but they were gone.

She said this was a new type of punishment. I had to wear my uniform (keep in mind this is summer) for 3 days when I get grounded. She even safety pins my shirt so it won't come untucked and I have to have 2 of the 3 buttons done on my polo. I can't use the phone, computer, or TV. But friends were allowed to come over and I could go to their houses (but why).

Is this worse than being grounded?
Additional Details

In addition, when I'm forced to wear my uniform, my mom has me run errands in town where I have to go outside in my uniform. It's so embarrassing!

I am almost 23 wks preg., and was thinking about who I want in the delivery room. Well, I talked with my mom even earlier in my preg, & she told me how she would be there. I was psyched! Yesterday, I was talking with my husband & we said how nice it would be to have both grandma's in the room. So, he called his mom & asked her, she was ecstatic! She was so excited that she wanted to call my mom and talk about how exciting it was. My mom then called me and told me how nice it was to invite my mother-in-law & then said she was so happy that my mother-in-law would be able to go because she probably wasn't going to be able to make it. I said, "What? You have to be there?" She told me how she would love to but probably wouldn't. I was so upset and still am. Everyone is about the same distance away from the hospital including my husband, 2-3 hours. It's my hormones, but I am sad that I have to theoretically prepare for no one to be there.

Okay finally after over a year of TTC #1 with no luck, I have took 2 HPT and both positive. The only thing I did different this time around was elevated my hips right after sex for about 20 minutes and did not get out of bed till morning. So it worked, YEAH.

I always came on here looking for very early symptoms so here are mine. I am 4 weeks preggo today.

Breasts not as sore as before I would start my period.
Very visible blue veins only in breasts.
Sharp pains every know in then on sides of breasts by armpit.
Dull pain all throughout my lower abdomen.
A little tired not to bad though.
When I would eat I would feel very full just half way through my meal.
And very dry down there, still not having to much discharge.
Went very dry down there right after ovulation.

I know all women are different but thought this might be some good information for all those TTC.

God Blessed Me and he will bless you all to if you just ask.
Baby Dust To All and Good Luck.

I was wondering what the pros/cons are? The worst I can think of are stinky diapers...having to wash them...how do you handle that? How many diapers do you have to buy, on average? How hard are they to learn to fold? Any info would be great, thank you.

Without going into detail (it's very detailed!) my son has a medical condition called encopresis, which causes him some days to poop his pants several times a day! Some days so much that he literally has to crawl to the bathroom to be washed off in the tub! So, I've decided to home school and home bound him until he's cured. They both insist that....
A) My husband pooped his pants once in a while & she sent him to school & he is fine!
B) Putting him in school later will be hard on him to adjust
C) He's not getting the socialization he deserves! (Although he is in different groups)
D) All kids get teased in school, it's just part of life!

I just don't see how he could concentrate with worrying about when he will have to "go" or how he smells or leaving the classroom so many times to change his pants! Also he is very shy & I could not see him having the courage to ask the teacher to go to the bathroom & then have the courage to walk stiff or bow legged all the way to bathroom?
