Pregnancy & Parenting - 16 August 2007

I have a 14yr old boy and a 10yr old girl. My son will start highschool this year and will enroll for football. This means that I will have to go straight home for my daughter b/c her brother wont be home to watch her. I'd like to put her in an activity, since I read a good article to keep my kids active. Is this a bad idea? Or what are some good but affordable activites can I enroll her for?

No, I am not pregnant. My hubby just happened to mention that he liked one of my favorite names for a girl: Ella. It means "other". I am in to meanings and think it would be cool to name her Ella Jolie. It would translate to other jewel. Which is appropo, because my daughter's name is Rylee Margaret, which means valiant pearl. What do you think? I am also interested in hearing your ideas for middles as well.

My daughter is now 4 and a half and has started lying just about everything. She would sometimes hit her brothers and when her brothers complained she would say she didn't do anything. Or, she would take toys from home to kindy and when I asked her if she did, she would say she didn't. I tried everything, telling her it is not nice to lie, it will hurt my feelings, or putting her in time out. Nothing seem to work. When she tells me the truth, I don't get angry with her, instead I tell her, see when you tell mommy the truth, mommy won't be angry. I have ran out of ideas, I don't know what to do anymore. Please help!

I'm 17 and I have pretty clear skin. I rarely get pimples EXCEPT when I'm getting my period. I am on the pill, but I hate it because I get pimples then and I feel like everyone knows that I'm getting my period (they can probably tell because of my grumpyness anyway!)

I cleanse and moisturise and don't wear too much make up.

Is there anything else I can do control my skin at this time of the month?!

I have a son with a September birthday. His pre-school teacher suggested keeping him back. he is on the small side but an inteliigent kid, he can't write many of his letters/numbers. We have flip flopped with this decision all summer. The start date is soon. Any suggestions.?
