My 6 month old has been showing signs of teething for quite some time now, but the constant drooling is really irritating the skin under his lip and above his chin. it's all red and looks sore! i keep him in bibs, and dry his face every opportunity i can, but if anybody has any ideas for me i'd sure like to hear them! thanks and have a great day!!

I've been on ortho tri-cyclen lo for 4 months. and i will be on my fifth month. i got my 4 months from planned parent hood. but then i turned 18 and now i have to go in and pay for them. i didn't have a chance to get there so my sister gave me a pack of hers. she takes ortho tri-cyclen lo too, i thought it would be okay to take them. but i wonder if there is more than one kind?

Today I went to the doctor for my 36 week check up. I told him that I have been cramping a lot and that my lower back had been acky. He told me that I am starting to thin our and dialate and that is why I am cramping but he didnt check me. He said that he isnt worried though because I am almost term. He also said that the baby is in positon and is engaged but I know that it is time for that anyways. What I want to know is how does he know I am thinning and dialating and does this mean I may go early?

I am really quite worried about the little girl as in the last 6 months that I have known them she has not gained a pound or grown an inch. She is still in 0-3 month or sometimes 3-6 omnth baby clothes. Her Mum and Dad are both about 5ft 5in but even at that I feel that she is very, very tiny and I am finding it hard to find the right words to express my concern.
Can anyone tell me if they know how to find a centile chart online for children so I can find out roughly how much she should weigh. Thanks.

This is my first baby and I was in L&D last night for five hours w contractions that were 3-4 min apart. They are still continuing today. But, the Dr examined me and said that I was not dialated at all. He also said to be ready for a baby anytime soon. Does that mean a day or two or four weeks? I am confused. How long could these contractions go on without dialation or will I begin to dialate? Any advice from anyone who has gone through this? Thanks!!

my daughter who is 3 years old has been prescribed flucloxacillin ( antibiotic) it is vile smelling and vile tasting, any good advice from mums and dads out there how to get her to take it would be greatly appreciated... she spat out the first spoonful and was nearly sick, i have tried disguising it in juice etc but to be honest with you i dont think anything could disguise the awful taste, i really need to get this down her somehow!!!!!!!!! by the way i have looked on the internet and read that there is a banana flavoured one but i cant understand why the doc didnt give her that????????

I know when a woman is prone to miscarriages and then falls pregnant, a doctor might prescribe progesterone to prevent it from happening again.

Would a quality brand progesterone cream work the same way? Im kinda paranoid after miscarrying before that it will happen again. I was thinking that after ovulation I would try applying the cream but was wondering if it was worth the price of the tube?

I took clomid for the first time this cycle. I ovulated around day 19. I am due to start my period in 2 more days but I have no symptoms of PMS at all. I always have moderate symptoms like mood swings, cravings, bloating, headaches, sore breasts, etc. They usually start about a week before my period. I do not have a single one of these. I am urinating alot but I am drinking a lot more water and I have a lack of appetite but not a upset stomach. I have also been more tired. My wierdest symptom is that my nipples are extremely sore,not my breasts just my nipples. I have never had this happen before. I have on average a 28 day cycle w/ 30 days being the longest. I am on day 26 now. Are these pregnancy symptoms or side effects from taking Clomid? I don't want to get my hopes up. I took a test yesterday and it was neg. My mom said with both her pregnancies she never got a positive on a urine test no matter how far along she was. Could this happen to me or are tests better now?

I just got a job at a daycare, and I will be taking care of 1- and 2- year olds. Is there anything special I need to know about that age group that will help me succeed in my job? What should I expect/not expect from these aged children? What demands should I make and not make? I have never had children of my own and am unsure of what exactly I should do. I recently had my 3rd miscarriage and I am 30. I had one jan 06 dec 06 and just had one within ther week. They havent gotten any longer than 5 weeks and didnt require D&C. i have a 2 1/2 year old and his father has two pit bulls who are bigger then my son. I have told him several times that I don’t want them around my son and all he says is that people misunderstand the dogs. He feels bad for them because people think they are violent and he thinks they aren't. I have researched this and found cases where kids have been severely hurt or killed because of these dogs. How do I get it across to him that they are dangerous before it's too late?

my 6 month old daughter not take formula or breast milk from the bottle, but if i give her dilutied juice she will drink from the bottle. I know she will be getting teeth soon and I cant not even find a full time job until she will drink milk from the bottle i'm running out of ideas. I tried serval brands of formula, I have tried probably every bottle on the market advent as well and it doesn't work. I really need to get her on the bottle cuz i need to find a full time job due recently becoming a single oarent I have 2 other children that had no problems when it came to the bottle. Can somebody please help me i dont know what else to do.

I have been taking my birth control about every other day, how likely is it that i am pregnant? My husband and i have been having sex a lot more often than usual but i don't remember if we did it around the time i would have ovulated. I have been PMSing EXTREMELY bad for the past week like i usually do, but i didn't get the cramps that i normally get when i PMS.
