I know when a woman is prone to miscarriages and then falls pregnant, a doctor might prescribe progesterone to prevent it from happening again.

Would a quality brand progesterone cream work the same way? Im kinda paranoid after miscarrying before that it will happen again. I was thinking that after ovulation I would try applying the cream but was wondering if it was worth the price of the tube?

Yes, many women have had success using natural progesterone cream.
Be sure you start using it after you have confirmed ovulation--BBT is the best way. Start using it on the evening of the 3rd day of the temp shift--3dpo.
Wal-mart sells NPC, the brand is Rexall, it comes in a jar. It contains 480mg per ounce. On the 3rd DPO use 1/4 tsp each evening and morning. That will give you 20mgs twice a day.
Keep using it until either your period comes, or you get a pos pregnancy test.
If you test pos. for pregnancy keep using it at LEAST through the first trimester. And when you do stop using it, don't just stop abruptly, you will need to gradually taper off use. Good luck and baby dust!

BTW, the Rexall brand from wal-mart costs $12-13.
