Cool name. Its greek origin means "Bringing Victory" and in latin means "True face" or "True image"

I think it's a beautiful name, I wanted to name my first daughter that, but I was afraid they would call her Ronni, I don't like names so beautiful shortened. I named her Rhonda. & what did people do?, started calling her Roni anyway. I nip that in the bud right away. I insisted on her proper name. If fact I did that with all my children. I have been successful, because they are all called by their right name. Just insist with everyone, "Her name is Veronica, not Roni." They will get used to it and won't use the nickname. Congradualtions & good health to you & baby.

It's a lovely name, but I don't care for the nickname many people give Veronicas, Ronnie (no matter how you spell it).

I dont like it only because I work with a Veronica, she is really a cute girl, but very very snotty. No one likes her where I work. I associate names with people, sorry.
