I'm about the same BMI as you and I'm 28.5 weeks with my third child. I've always been heavy and have never had gestational diabetes or pre-eclampsia with any of my pregnancies. The only thing I've really noticed is I never look pregnant and usually gain less than 10 pounds. Good luck and know that it is possible to get pregnant and have a happy healthy baby regardless of your size.

Overweight women can get pregnant too, however, keep in mind, that it will put you at an increased risk for gestational diabetes, and preeclampsia. You should probably talk to your doctor about attaining a more healthy weight, or a healthy diet and exercise plan while pregnant. If you do get pregnant, your pregnancy will probably be lableled "high risk" and will be monitored more. You don't want preeclampsia to ever progress to the fatal eclampsia.

Of course! They get pregnant just as easily as 'regular' sized women!
Don't know my BMI, but I was obese. Also had PCOS, though it wasn't diagnosed at the time. Took us two years naturally.
You do have to be very careful with your nutrition - get a great doctor! I had both a family doctor and a ob/gyn who was experienced with obese moms. I lost weight at the beginning of my pregnancy because I quit eating and drinking junk, and walked more. Had no other problems related to my weight, and gave birth to a healthy and happy baby!

Lots of women have managed. If you have not yet managed to do so, a loss of even 10% can kickstart ovulation. Sometimes, you have to lose more than that to get your body back to ovulating. Generally, what happens is that the fat is storing hormone preventing you from ovulating.
My suggestion is this (safest according to my doctor). Lose the 10% first before trying. Then it is safe to lose about 1 lb. a week. As you lose fat, that hormone is being dumped into your system and faster weight loss potentially can create more problems for the embryo.

Unless you have serious health issues that would make pregnancy difficult, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to. Check with your doctor, it's always good to try to be healthy when carrying a child.

Pregnancy can occur for all women, no matter what the weight. It is a matter of timing.
