I'm personally not too fond of it... I think it pushes past trendy and just sounds old or biblical. But if that's what you're going for, then by all means use that name. What matters most is that you like the name, not what people on here think. I would also keep in mind, however, the potential for this child being teased because of his name. I was teased for my name as a child, and I really hated it. If you think about it and you still love it, then go for it!

the name :
reuben means Behold, A Son its hebrew
saul means sun its Lithuanian
its a wonderful combination its beautifull .. and unique in its own way

It makes me think of a little old Jewish man.... I like the old man/ old lady sounding names, but that's not one of them! It sounds very ethnic.....
