Please choose which middle name would go well with the name Brooklyn. By the way, I'm choosing the name Brooklyn cause where I met my boyfriend (father of the baby) was in Brooklyn, New York. I gave birth to my daughter 4 weeks ago. I am still bleeding and it is very heavy bleeding. I went to the bathroom and there was a blood clot about the size of a penny. Is this something to be concerned about????

I have a 10 gallon tank which will soon be home to one small ruykin goldfish. To help with the mess from the goldfish i would like to know if i could get away with adding in a bottom feeder of some kind. I dont know if they live at the same temperature or coexist well. Why do people have issues with guys taking their little girls to the bathroom, I mean I am not going to send my 4 year old into the bathroom on her own when I don't know who is in those public bathrooms, and I don't care if they are all girls I don't know them they could do anything to her in there while I am standing outside like a banana.

And no one ever says anything when a girl take her 4 year old son into the bathroom.

They have a parent and child room at my local store which I use when either I need to go or my kids need to go and I take them in and the other day this woman had the nerve to demand to know what I was doing in there with little girls and when I told her I took my daughter to the bathroom she went you had no right where is the mom does she know about this.

By god I was so angry I had to walk away before I hit her or something.

How dare anyone tell me I don't have the right to care about my own kids.

So what is the problem because i don't get it?

Sorry.. i messed up..
So.. i have roughly a 28 day cycle.. looking at the ovulation calanders i was "supposed" to be ovulating between the 17th of July and the 21st.. Had intercourse on the 17th,19th and the 23rd. Ovulation day was meant to be on the 21st.. so would having sex 2 days past ovulation still help ? And when do you think i could be taking a pregg test ? 1st day of my last period was on the 7/7/2007.

I found out I am pregnant and was thrilled. After I told my husband, he was thrilled. But now I have this feeling of worry, couldn't sleep all night. Its only been a week. My son has been a fussy eater since 2 months of age. Today as i was going through his 100-peice bottle collection, i noticed the brown nipple that i havent yet tried. Somehow i missed it, i guess.. It fit our Ventair Wide and Drop-ins by Playtex. My son took it very well. But when i looked up the latex nipples, i found an article about it causing babies allergy.. So now i'm apprehensive about using it again..


Also, is playtex, gerber and evenflo only companies make these type of nipples.. Why? Dr.browns, avent seem to only produce silicone..

so anyone have good experience with these nipples, or should i keep looking for something of silicone?

Tomorrow morning is my 3 yr old daughter's first trip to the dentist. We have been talking about it for a couple weeks (not much but a little here and there.) We have read some books about teeth (arthur at the dentist, bearenstein bears dentist) and we also have watched a few tv shows (franklin at the dentist and one other one). My main concern is that I just had my wisdom teeth pulled on Thursday and ended up with dry sockets. She has seen me miserable because of the "owies in mommy's mouth." She seems a little nervous. I have explained that they are going to count and brush her teeth and that she won't get owies like mommy. Any suggestions for getting her prepared for it?
