You are boy toy. Now if you were 26 and she was 36 there was more a maturity there and it would be alright. But not at 16 what can you offer her besides sex and she is mostly the teacher.

The only reason a 26 year old wants to date a 16 year old is they want a toy they can control and play with. Woman-boy, Man-girl, doesn't matter. Now, if you don't mind being a passing play thing and don't mind not being in control, then be happy. (maybe you like the benefits...) If you are under the illusion that you are equal, get going going gone. And beware that she may want kids (she's at that age). Do you want to be a dad at 16 and be married to a woman who treats you like a puppy dog?

Not if you are 40 & 30, or 26 & 36, or 30 & 20, etc. but if she is 26 & you are 16... forget it unless you are willing to get her in trouble

depends you are young and inexperianced with grown up relationships, but if you both want it to work and try hard then i guess you can make it work, but in my experiance it depends on how you handle the relationship i hadnt beeing in a seriou reltionship before and things didnt work out but i learnt a lot and have looked on the experiance and have not made the same mistakes in my new relationship.i was 16 he was 26. so its not the ages it the person and their mental maturity that matter age is just a number. there is 15 years between me and my patner, and ive never been happier. good luck.

Far too old for you, sorry. It would be different if you were the 26-year-old, and she still ten years older, but if you're under 25, it's best to stay within a few years of your own age.

I'd say just about too old...... although 16 is old enough in the UK for shagging legally, mentally there's liable to be a HUGE gap in maturity (in other words she's likely to act WAY more grown-up than you, to the point of seeming kinda boring at times).

For now, you're probably best off sticking to ones no older than 21yrs old until you hit 21 yourself, then when your 21, stick to ones no older than 25.......... then after that consider going for no older than an 8yr age difference either way.

She is to old for you. What would a 26 yr old have in common with a 16 yr old boy?!

It's how you feel thats important! is it a bit of fun though or a serious relationship? do you really want to be settled down with kids etc or going out with your mates when your 18? these are the things you've got to think about!
When I was 17 I went out with this guy who was 28! I wanted to go and get pissed all the time and he didn't, so I'd go out with my mates and go up to his after, it wasn't a proper relationship, mostly because I was usually drunk.
Maybe you should get all that out your system first and if you still want to see her in a few years then go for it!
On the other hand if she wants to go out and have fun then go for it now.
Do what makes you happy, but don't end up with kids and a life you could regret!

It would be rather foolish if you are talking about dating somebody that age, because at 16, you have a lot of personal development ahead of you, and since that usually slows down dramatically by 23, she's already through the worst of it. So she is who she is and you are still becoming who you are, which means the odds of this relationship lasting are pretty much nil.

It would be statutory rape if you are talking about having sex with a woman that age.

At 16 yes! If you were 26 and she was 36 I would say no big deal!

She should really seek mental help. I know you won't agree but you are still a child and she is an adult. That is just wrong
