Theoretically, ovulation occurs about 14 days before your period - and that's when you are at risk. In fact, recent research has shown that it's unusual but not impossible for ovulation and conception to happen at other times during the cycle - any time.

Sites like this are full of stories like "We only did it the day before my period and I still got pregnant!". If you knew the odds were only, say, 1 in 100 would you call that "safe"?

Entirely possible. If Auntie Flo doesn't arrive on time both this month AND next month, get a pregnancy test.

I got pg using a condom that didn't break or leak, so anything is possible, you can get pg anytime
