Pregnancy & Parenting - 30 July 2007

I had two blood tests last week after having 4/5 positive hpt's. The one on Tuesday came back with an hcg level of 23 and the one on Friday with a level of 50. I have an appointment on August 9th and will have a transvag ultrasound then, but I want to know about how far along I would be with these levels? I can't go by lmp, because I'm very irregular.

Alysia Kaitlyn was one of them...my concern is my name is Alice and I don't want it to feel to other children(if I have any more) that I am favouritizing my first child by calling her a simliar name to mine. My daughter is 10 months old . I have been feeding her baby food . But I want to switch her over to solids and more chunky foods. How do I go about doing this? I already give her gerber puffs! How dangerous is to finish outside, we use condoms but sometimes both of us, had not feelings.

When you are induced with pitocin can you walk around or do you have to stay in the hospital bed. Also are you allowed to eat and drink or are you limited to ice chips. Any answers would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Boyfriend and I of 5 months are just over 1 month pregnant.... (age 24 and 32). Crazy and "wrong", I know, but after the intial shock, we are both excited and ready to give it our all. I am 100% certain he will not leave. We have talked about this soooo much and since we first met we have both decided we want to be with each other for the rest of our lives. It's an indescribable connection that I woud have never believed myself until he came along.

We're both in stable careers; I own a house; we are on the same maturity level, share the same values, morals, and desires; have excellent communication(both patient, respectful, very honest, and understanding - can talk through ANYTHING) etc.

I believe everything happens for a reason and I do not believe in abortion in this case, as we are capable of raising this child in a loving, nuturing, stable environment. I want to hear your thoughts/advice so I know what to expect when it's time to inform my family, boss, and co-workers.

I need to put my kids in daycare so I can start school online at the end of the month. I have a referal from dcf for both kids but I am thinking of just putting my oldest in daycare...he's 22 months. My other is 8 months and I am not sure if I want to part with him yet. He's still breastfeeding and he's so quiet so he's not much of a bother. But I would feel really bad if I just put my oldest in daycare and not the other. The daycare down the road said I could have the infant spot but I'd have to come today to get it bc she said she never has an opening. Should I take it and put both boys in or just one?

The doses were properly spread apart. I was in a lot of pain all over and needed the Tylenol to sleep. I had some cramping and spotting is why I'm worried. The spotting was very little, but it never occurred during my first pregnancy...what do you think?

I don't know how to say this. I'm not pregnant. Please no harsh words because I'm having a real hard time with this. Been depressed for days. I guess I wanted a baby so bad my body changed as if I was pregnant. I had all the signs, felt the baby move this past month, felt like twitches, or flutters. I'm so pissed off and I'm blaming God which I know i shouldn't. The doc told me I have no ovaries. Why are so many unfit mothers having babys. I'm not talking about anyone on here. You all are great. I am so freaking angry that so many unfit women are having babies. I want a baby to love, and take care of and help grow and just to be there for him/her. I want a child so bad and I'm really pissed that I a loving, caring, nuturing woman with a huge heart and many more traits can't have a baby. I don't have money to adopt and i don't want to foster because usually as soon as you fall in love with the child they go right back home. Has anyone done this or known someone who did what i did?
