My husband and I are trying to conceive a second child. Our first daughter is going to be three next month. Is there any tips besides "practicing" that we can do?

Hi, 3 weeks ago, i gave birth to my baby daughter, and I had a c-section (2nd one), and today just started my period, but it`s the heaviest period I`ve ever seen. There is a lot of blood in just seconds. Is this normal??

I had a baby two weeks ago my husband filled out paper work for FMLA leave for three weeks. I ended up having to have a c-section so he wants to take off six week now not three. Does anyone know if all he has to is notify the employer or do they have approve it? His work does not like him taking time off so they will probably not be nice about it.

My son has special needs and can not speak, so I do not even know he feels bad until he either starts crying or throws up. What can I do before or during a car ride to make him feel better? I am unsure if Dramamine is safe yet.

My doctor has recently prescribed me Metformin for my PCOS to help regulate my cycle..
I started taking this drug July 27th, the first two days of taking the drug i felt fine just had a little headache the second day, but the last two days i have had nausea all day long and some diarrhea, i know these side effects are normal, but is it normal to last all day long for two days in a row????
My doc has me taking 500mm 3x a day...I also wanted to know when exactly to take it like is there a time frame?? I take mine ever 71/2 to 8 hours??? Like i'll take one at 7a.m then i'll take another at 3p.m, then again at 11p.m??? Should they be spaced so far apart? Or should i take then a little closer together??
I was simply put on to help regulate my cycle and possibly restore fertility ( hubby and i have been trying for over a year), i DO NOT suffer from excess facial/body hair, obesity, weight gain (im a perfect weight 5'2-5'3 and i weigh 107-108lbs)????please help

My mom told me to buy Gowns to wear at and home from the hospital ...lol...like a mumu, a house gown. shes so old fashioned.

i'm 22 and pretty slim, i dont even know where to buy a gown. i dont really want to be seen in a mumu anyway. I figured some loose sweats and a t-shirt...thats ok right?

my doctor said that if my blood work comes back saying that i didnt ovulate, they want to put me on clomid. i checked with my local pharmacy with the price and they said that for a bottle of 30 pills (generic) it would cost me about a hundred and something. is there a way i can get that cheaper? i mean the doctor said that i need it to get pregnant but also i have small cyst on my ovaries from not ovulating. if i took them my cyst would go down. my insurance doesnt cover infertility or medication for it, would that be considered infertility or is there a way around it? please give me some advise.

I know that with today's technology with formulas and baby food, mothers are able to stop breastfeeding long before this age, however, it is my understanding, before all this technology it was ok to breastfeed well into the third year and if the mother wished to do so could do that now as well.

i'm not saying you're limited to matthew, mark, luke, and john but give me a *ucking break with some of the names people come up with these days, and in case you are wondering its not a racial thing either, but if i meet another kid named Casket(come on), Blade (and your last name is Runner), Laquanea (just becuase you went into labor while on a cruise ship), or Flake(becuase it snowed in july that one time at band camp) i'm gonna freak out. a kids name can be unique without being extra-terrestrial. lol. just a fun question. name your kid whatever makes you happy..hmmmmm happy is a cute name (wink wink,lol)

its fine if people name there child Nevaeh,BUT do they have to say its "Nevaeh, its heaven spelled backwards", its like there name has become a sentance. The name is fine, but the saying is just annoying, not cute.

My son is 3 1/2, and I'm due in December to have a boy. My hubby and I are keeping him involved and he loves to feel his brother kick. My question is, besides beefing him up about being a big helper and big brother, what can we do to prepare him for the new arrival. I've told him that I'm going to need alot of help from him, changing diapers and feeding the baby and singing songs to him, and he seems excited, but then he doesn't want the baby to live with us. Is there anything I can do to help prepare him?
