My husband and I are trying to conceive a second child. Our first daughter is going to be three next month. Is there any tips besides "practicing" that we can do?

You do the same thing you did the first time. Have sex around ovulation.

The best book I ever received on the subject was "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. Check it out..very helpful. Knowing when you are ovulating (taking your temperature each morning before you get out of bed, charting your period, charting everytime you have sex, etc) will help you know your body better and better predict the best times to get pregnant (or not) and know when you get pregnant as soon as it happens. Good luck!

Best advice I ever heard on how to get pregnant- have sex every other day, once that day, starting around the end of your period and continue until your next cycle.Best chance of a sperm finding that egg, best chance of having a healthy amount of those swimmers built up when you have intercourse.

I read a book called "Fertility, Cycles & Nutrition" when ttc #2 b/c it was taking so long. The month after I read it and implemented a few things we got pregnant.

After sex, put a pillow under you and keep your legs in the air. yes, it sounds ridiculous. Stay that way for like 15 min. Just trying to ensure that the sperm hits its mark. Good luck.
