Your pharmacist can answer this question for you. He/she would be the most reliable person to ask. However, having been a mom for 28 years and dealt with tons of childhood illness, generally speaking, your doctor would probably have instructed you to wait if it were necessary, but sometimes doctors can forget to give this type of information. For ear infections, my children were often given an antibiotic and a decongestant as well. They can both be given one right after the other with no problem. As you can see, asking this type of question on an opinion forum such as Yahoo! Answers is liable to give you some really off-the-wall advice. I would suggest to give the pharmacist a call to be sure.

I agree with the first poster. Call the pharmacy it really depends on what it is and the dosage. Some maybe every 4hrs some every 6 others as far apart as 8hrs

Not all medicines are alike , but to be on the safe side I recommend letting at least 2 hours between the doses of the medicines just in case there is an absorption interaction .

I would not give any more medication before first checking with your pharmacist or physician. Pharmacists have a wealth of information and are a great resource. Good luck................C

Depends just what they are!! Ring your pharmacy or doctors to be sure - its just not worth taking the risk.

I would call the Dr.'s office or call the pharmacy to check.

Don't take advice about this on here. Phone your doc or chemist. You could kill your child if you give them the incorrect dose!!

It depends on what medication it is.
