Pregnancy & Parenting - 27 February 2007

I usually get some cramps before AF and have had no period pains as such in the last week just the odd strange pull or twinge. I had some spotting on the 18th which i'm hoping was implantation not many other symptoms either way yet! How did you feel when you were waiting to find out and were you?

My daughter (Bee) is 14 y o and has been friends with a girl (Kay) since kindergarten. Recently they have become much closer than ever...however, Kay's mom now wants to seperate them because they talk too much in school and she is blaming Bee for her kid's poor grades - even in classes they don't attend together. I also had both girls beg me to talk to this woman because she has the misguided notion that our daughters forged my kid's permission slip for an end of the year trip and that her kid is paying for it and is now not allowing Kay to go on the trip, but she has never asked me about this. I see this woman a couple times a week at dance classes, should I approach her and tell her she's nuts? I have seen her be mean to her own child, but she is now affecting my kid. There is a lot more to this, these girls have been like sisters, we have included her in many of our family events and they have done the same, now she is cutting my kid out, even from Kay's b-day yesterday.

I have a daughter of 3 1/2 years, and she is only the child we have, and me & my husband both are working. If we praised the other childred she feel bad, and if we say that she is not doing dance well or anything , then she feel very bad and cry.
And I also will have work in house, So i daily cann't concentrate onher studies. If we say sometimes she will go and study and somtimes not.
And moreover she is having very dry skin, till FEB also her skin is very wrough and dry. So i don't know what to put daily to her skin. Kindly guide me, Thank u,

How do you make a joint?


You get your paper

You stuff it with TABBACCO AS IN CIGARETTE

Then a tiny bit of dope for flavour (bit like salt on chips)

Then you take out the filter that would be in a cigarette to make it a little safer.


Then replace that with a bit of bar with less filtration


Then you smoke the joint which is like 96% unfiltered TABACCO (as in addictive nicoteen, all nasty stuff in cigarettes, cancer and all that) cigarette inhailing more tabbacco then you would with a regular cigarette.



Thats if you stop to think about it...


Oh and you keep doing this you turn like the sad gits who say go all the way to AUSTRALIA then spend half or more of the time in scrappy scummy Kings Cross the red light district just getting stoned or pissed with other backpackers not even mixing with the locals in some of the shittiest hostels in AUS.

my 14 yr old daughter wants diet pills and has asked me for several weeks now if she can have mine. I told her no, she is too young and not even over weight. she wears a 3-5 jr and looks great. well yesterday I found two plastic bags filled with my diet pills and another brand stuck in her drawer. She claims she only just started that day and took two instead one. I am so upset she lied to me and stole them from me. I'm not sure what to do. so far she has been on work detail and the house hasn't ever looked so good!! :) I do have her cell phone and I have talked breifly because I am too upset to hand out a punishment. I'm totally lost now..is this a beginning of a bigger problem?

My son is always screaming at me, my partner and his 3 brothers.
He gets upset at anything and everything, says we hate him and that we don't love him. I have tried being nice and caring, firm and strict and of course the naughty step to calm him down. Nothing seems to work, please suggest something as i'm going mad and just want him to be happy.

I know a young woman who was told that a child - age four - should not be told to pick up their toys? Teaching a child life skills is over controlling? It was a CPS worker, what would you have done. I would have told her to leave my home immediately.

My nephew is 1 yr, and is 18 lbs, he was tested for several different things. Neg. results. Dr. said he's probably just going to be short or he will go through a growth spert (sp.) basically he's healthy he's the right weight for his height, just not for his age, Should she worry? i luv children but dont think i'll ever want to have any. im 25 & wonder somtimes if i'll regret it later but then i dont think i could handle being a parent. for everything i'll have to give up, i think i'll end up hating my children & then hate myself for being a horrible parent! any parents wish u hadn't had kids? is it worth giving up so much?

Would this be considered child abuse if my mother had spanke me with a paddled 20 times in a row for an incident that got me in trouble at school? Halfway through me getting paddled I was begging her to stop and I was screaming in pain to get her to stop?

I was 14 years old at the time and my mother made me pull down my pants but she didn't make me pull down my underwear, after I was done getting spanked I was in tears and I've felt that she didn't love me anymore and she was constantly being mean to me throughout the rest of the evening.

Was it okay for my mother to paddle me 20 times in a row for an incident that got me in trouble at school?

I've been told I must sleep on my left side, and not on my back as it cuts off circulation to the baby, I'm worried because I go to sleep on my left but wake up through the night on my back. Will it harm the baby? I'm 17 weeks pregnant.

he does not work lies in bed all day drinks 8 cans or more beers at night.
my poor daughter who is in agony with her back goes out cleaning every day and he never offers her any help.
if i say anything to her it will cause an argument between us as i have tried before.
they live in a flat in my home so i see every thing, they have got 2 daughters who come to me all the time complaining about their dad, my daughter even comes back home from work to take them to school and he is still in bed.
i really do not know what to do if i say anything i know my daughter will fall out with me.

since 12:04 (am) i've been having painless contractions 5 minutes apart (seriously to to "t"). my belly gets very hard and sometimes my cervix hurts at the same time. i don't know what's going on because they don't hurt!!! uncomfortable, but not like what i've always heard a contraction should feel like.... any advice!?
