The tape is all still there but it is all twisted and one small part has a hole in it. Is there any where I can take the tape to have the rest of it salvaged?? Please help

Okay well i have some time before baby arives and don't know if i am having a boy or girl but my husbands family has a tradition they want to keep the name oscar going. this is my father-in-laws name and my husbands name and well if we have a boy we want to name him oscar but we need a middle name i really don't want a jr. but i would settle for it if we have too. I want some ideas so if you guys have some let me know

Earlier my daughter (just turned 16 this month) was complaining about a headache so I told her to come here and I would give her an advil and she told me she already took 2. This might sound silly, but do you think she's old enough to decide when she needs medicine and take it herself or should I still be the one to give it to her? I just don't want her to take to many or take one every time she feels a little ache somewhere.

My daughter is four years old and she is adopted. I really do not like it when people mention that children are adopted because to me, blood relation doesn't really mean anything and I do not like to differentiate between biological children and adopted ones though this may cause a problem in my family because I fear that my daughter will feel left out and as if she is inferior to her sibling just because she is not blood related to any of us. I, of course, will not differentiate between any of my children and will love and treat them exactly the same. I hope there will be no problems but I do know children are jealous of their younger siblings for a while, and i hope that blood relations will have nothing to do with it. I also hope racial reasons won't have anything to do with it because my daughter is of a different race. I hope she will not feel like we love the new baby more just because he will look different (race) and because he is our biological child.

I am having period-like cramps and according to my calender, I started to ovulate today. I have had these cramps for the past two days. I was wondering if anyone else experienced cramps during ovulation. I usually only have them pre-menstration. Could it be just normal, something I ate, or could I be pregnant?
I have had 2 previous miscarriages, and was afraid I could not conceive due to that (a blood clot formed behind the placenta which cut off the blood flow of the baby), however my OB-GYN said that I could still.

I appreciate your answers and personal experiences. Thank you!

I put my child aged 20mths in childcare for one day but really only stayes 3 hours. But know we have started playgroup he love first few visits now does'nt like me out of his sight as he thinks I'm going to leave him like at childcare.. He only cries at childcare and cares are not really good with him... DO I TAKE THEM OUT OF CHILDCARE AND GO TO PLAYGROUP TWO DAYS A WEEK. I DON'T WORK ... SO DO I TRY childcare in a few more months or leave him in or do i get him to like playgroup first . I ONLY WANT HIM TO PLAY WITH OTHER CHILDREN...ANY IDEAS

I took the sugar test and they did not tell me that i was not supposed to eat, I had a snicker and my test came back 147 but its supposed to be below 132. Now i have to go back for the three hour test.

my 10 day old son semms to get the hiccups a lot he has had them twice today and i have been told of sugar water by a friend but iv also been told no do not use sugar water by a rn that regular water works. but plan water does nothing should I listen to my friend because it works or should i listen to a rn because of her medical background.

what have you tried that works and is not harmful.

he also had these when i was pregnant with him and they seem to bother him.

i have been having dreams of twins and in my dream its a boy and a girl .. one dream is i have delivered and i am always checking making sure there is two and the two is always a boy and girl, the other is i am getting an ultursound and the doc confirms that i am having twins which again is a boy and girl ...my sis in law has even had a dream where the girl was already out and she looked like my hubby and the boy was on his way out...does anybody have a clue the docs have told me they only see one i believe im having the twins .what do you think

I wonder why American children get out of home so immature and definitely not ready for life.Why do you keep them and look after them like hothouse flowers and when they turn 18 you just throw them away on the street and make them find a job,a place to live and cope with life alone but they haven't learned that.Children from European countries go out of home much more mature because they haven't been spoilt and looked after so much and they have been let doing lots of things without being supervised.For example you wouldn't let a 7-year-old stay alone at home for the time after school.In other countries 7-year-ols can stay alone and they make it perfect by the way.If you keep your child like a hothouse flower,then don't throw it away when he/she turns 18.What's the problem if he/she lives with you even if he/she is 30-40 if he/she is working and helping in paying bills etc.?And why is your child-bringing system so holey?

I'm at 37 weeks but I would like some advice from those who have had already went through this of what I should pack and when.
The hospital is going to be at a military base, so they have a strict rule that I can't eat anything that I bring from home unless it's clear/see-through like a sucker or apple juice.
I was able to tour the place and they have whirlpools to help relax in but what do you wear in them? I don't have a preggie bathing suit, lol.
Also, when you leave the hospital, what kind of clothes would be more comfortable to wear? Would my maternity jean capris' elastic band hurt around my waist or should I just bring PJs that tie?

I had a D&C apropos of a blighted ovum -- a 'missed miscarriage' -- and it involved:

-- general anaesthetic
-- an overnight stay in the hospital
-- generous amounts of painkillers

I was not very far along at all. The overnight stay wasn't necessary, but it was nice to be, well, drugged and able to relax with other people bringing me food. The room ('semi-private') had an easy chair that reclined enough for my husband to sleep in, too; his staying overnight wasn't a problem.

From the looks of the posts on abortions, abortion clinics don't normally offer general anaesthetic, and certianly not overnight stays, and I'm not clear on the painkiller issue.

I'm in Canada, if that makes any difference.

I have an appt with my Dr tomorrowbut I came down with this cold today and it is getting worse! Scratchy troat-runny/stuffy nose-ears feel clogged-and begining of cough-but no fever. Does anyone know if there is anything that I can take to get me though the night till I talk to the Dr?
