Hey there I have a cold too and just got a positive preg test. I called my pharmacists (Walgreen's) since we have been trying and I wanted to make sure I could take Robitussin Cough and Congestion. He said it's fine to take. If you need to ask anything related to meds, call your local pharmacists (Walgreen's is 24/7) Hope you feel better, oh BTW....you are sick now because you're pregnant! Your immune system is lower when you are pregnant making you more susceptible to colds and things like that. This is why a lot of women think that sneezing and feeling like they have a cold is a pregnancy symptom! It's not though it just happens that they get sick because of the pregnancy. No worried though, the cold is normal and won;t hurt your baby.

Hope you feel better soon!;)

www.swobgyn.com is the website to my doctors office. There is a wealth of info on the site. There is a list of problems and solutions including everything from colds to back aches to constipation. From the homepage click on Obstetrics then Safe medications during pregnancy.

Cold Symptoms
For allergy or cold symptoms, you may take Sudafed or Sinus Tylenol, Robitussin (Plain or DM) for cough, and Sucrets or Chloraseptic Lozenges for sore throat associated with allergies or a cold.
