ok, i want to start trying to get pregnant but i really want it to be a girl. what are the odds, cuz i heard that its up to the male since he has the gene that determines what sex it is. my husband has 2 sisters and one brother. so theres 2 boys one girl his dad has mostly sisters what do u think? if i try will i have a boy or a girl?

I wanted to ask a question about a possible leutal cyst. I have done some reading about leutal cysts and I have a question for those of you who have had them. My ovualtion day was Sunday 2/18 or2/19 and 7 days later on Saturday Feb 24 I started having pains on my lower right side. I have never had these post ovulation pains when I was on the pill but since I started TTC I have seen all types of new things. I had some feelings like this last month but nothing this bad. There was no bleeding or spotting which leads me to believe that it may not have been implantation but a leutal cyst. I am wondering if anyone has had these before and what your symptoms were. I had sharp pains in my lower right abdomen (around ovary) and then it dulled and became a crampy pain with lower back pain and a feeling of heaviness for 3 days. I also kept getting the feeling that I needed to use the restroom (#2 sorry TMI) but i didn't have to go. Is this normal and does it sound like a cyst or implatation?

so my oldest sister is 19 she just had a baby who just turned 1 month.
my second oldest sister is going to be turning 17 in april.
then me i just turned 15 on feb. 14.
then my twin brother he turned 15 on the 15th ( we were born 3 minuets apart evadently he was born the next day)
and my little sister is going to tun 9 in july
my mom is like 36 or 37 and is pregnate again!

This is for my daughter-in-law. The little girl is really smart. I've already advised them to turn off the DVDs and TV to let her play and use imagination. She screams in the car, store, restaraunts and everywhere. She did not scream at me when I visited, only cried at first until she remembered who I was or when hungry or tired. I also believe she is seeking attention. Parents are 36-31 and also a child about 4 mos.

My doctor listened to the heartbeat a few days ago. It was loud. Then he told me in a month, he will schedule me for an ultrasound. Then he said, from their I will find out whether if I'm a boy or girl (if the baby cooperates), then he said and we will also find out if you are having twins or multiples. I was surprise he said cause, wouldn't he able to tell from listening to the heartbeat? Please, any twin mothers answer my question. Did any of you listen to the heartbeat and only heard one and then ultrasound confirmed you are carrying more than one???????

I am 35 weeks pregnant. For the past few weeks i get really bad lower stomahce pains like contractions. I usualy run to the bathroom and the will go away about 10 minutes later. I dont know why it does this but i guess im used to it. well last night I experienced really bad lower back pains. Nothing i experienced before that i just wanted to scream and i became really tight. This happened 3 times and then it stopped ( @ 330 in the morning ) I fell asleep woke up @ 7.. same thing again. Then @ 930. It just keeps coming and going. I have been exhausted & dizzy. Im having such a hard time doing much, like my babies laundry.. I feel a lot of pressure a lot more latlely in my lower stomache and in my bottom? What do you think is going on?
people are telling me to go to the doctors and talk to the OB. My next appt is march 7th, is that to long?? Should i try to make it earlier?

My 5 year old is out of control with his temper tantrums. I tried everything like getting down to his level to talk to him, time outs, spankings, and taking away his priviliges like watching tv. He out grew my dicipline and became more defiant. Today he throw objects and he hit me today. I'm going to check into a behavioral interventionist, what do you think I should do?

He had my wife in tears today when she called to tell me, he screams yells, refuses to cooperate or participate or respond to any guidance I only get him to slow down temporarily by taking him to his room and closing the baby gate and let him scream it out, he takes toys from other children usually cars and trucks, and he will hit and bite. My daughters are not like this, but we have an older son who is biologically my wifes by a previous relationship who had severe emotional and behavioral issues due to being born with a genetic anomally i.e. xyy syndrome, however when we had our baby boy checked this anomally was not present, and our older son has not been in the home since before our youngest was born, so there couldn't be any copycat behavior, so there is something else going on... I was a wild little guy as well, and I am afraid for my son...please advise. I would be so grateful.

i have had persistant cramping for 3 days now my boobs are a liitle sore and am sooo moody i started my last period on the 10th of febuary and i ovulate early are these symptoms of early pregnancy.

My neighbor and friend has just had a baby (yay!), but during delivery she dislocated her pelvis. She will be stuck in bed for 6-8 weeks. I know there is the little things that I can help her out with, plus her mom is coming to help. But I was wondering if any other moms out there were confined to bed this long after delivery, and if so what were some of the things that helped you out the most or meant the most?

Generally speaking how old should a kid be who is entering 7th grade from 6th grade? And how tall should they be? I really miss my medium rare steaks and I was curious if anyone else misses anything too? I am 34 weeks and I think the first thing I am gonna do is eat a medrare steak and drink a glass of Reisling (spelling?). He he I miss my wine too. What is the first thing you are going to do post pregnancy that you can't do during pregnancy.

I have a wonderful 6 month old baby boy. He used to sleep in his crib when he was tiny, but now refuses! He sleeps in bed with me and my husband and wakes up numerous times during the night to nurse. If I don't nurse him or try to get him to sleep in the crib, he screams bloody murder :( In some ways I like the closeness of sleeping with him, but I'm just so exhausted from waking up all night and wish he would sleep through the night. Also I would like to just sleep with my husband! Are there any alternatives to letting him "cry it out"? I can't do that to him, it doesn't seem fair after letting him sleep with me for so long. He's a HUGE baby, so I know he definitely does not need to nurse all night long. Please pleaaase help! thank you,

I asked a question earlier about bn 16 n havn a bf whos 19. I asked if he could go 2 jail if we had sex and it got out. I asked that b/c I thought I was prgnt w/his baby. That's the stupid part. I had sex with him without a condom in the heat of the moment and now I could be paying 4 it w/my future. So if I am pregnant, would he go 2 jail? I don't want an abortion, but he says it is throwing my future away if I keep the baby. Is it possible for me to even be prgnt? I mean, I started my period and only bled for about an hour and filled like 1/2 a tampon. Then it stopped. I read that I could be prgnt if I have a short, late period (which it was). If I am not pregnant, he wants me to go on birth control. Oh yeah we've been havn sex for months. Do I need parental consent to go on birth control? Because I could never ask my parents about that, they would slaughter me. Another thing I needed help with is how to talk to parents if I'm pregnant. I need help. How much does a p. test cost?

There is this guy (J), he is sweet, nice, and he is the closest thing my friend S has ever had to having an older bro, they are totally close. He feels the same way about me, like I am just her friend. Hes nice to me and not attracted and he isnt my type either. BUT HERE IS ZE PROBLEM! My boyfriend absolutly hates S! Because of this reason, he wont let me take any of J's calls or see him.
Well I was hanging out with a girlfriend of mine and she wanted to go to another friends house so we drove over and everyone was having a good time. I didnt even hang out in the same room as J or see him like at all.
My bf totally flipped! He said I should have called him to come beat J's ***. This guy (my bf) is NINETEEN! He still acts immature about these things. He said from now on if there are any guys where I go he has to be there. Is this fair? We have been dating 4 years. He always brings up when I got raped too, like "If you dont want that to happen again, I have to be there when u go out"

Well i usually have unprotected sex i would say for the pass 5 months and i do it on a regular basis like 2 to 3 times a week. I haven't missed one period yet but my period lasts from like 1 to 3days long. And lately i been feeling a bubble feeling not really in my stomach but really low somewhere down there. and i could see the movements i know its not gas. And my stomach is still somewhat flat, I don't have no signs of being pregnant, and i took a home pregnancy test and it came out negative. Do anyone possibly know what that is? And could i could i be pregnant?
