The tape is all still there but it is all twisted and one small part has a hole in it. Is there any where I can take the tape to have the rest of it salvaged?? Please help

Yes the tape can be mended. Just the one part with the hole and the crumpling won't be able to be seen again, probably just a few seconds. Take it to a place where they transfer video tape to DVD, and in the process of repairing it they can also save it to something that will last longer than the video tape.

You could repair it yourself too...
In college I learned film editing, and we would just cut the tape, and put two evenly cut ends together with some scotch tape which we would then trim on the edges so it would be just the exact width of the video tape. It's easy to repair. You will have to cut out the bad part.

My son does this all the time, I just winded it back up and if he tore in in hafe then i just used scotch tape to mend it. It still works in the VCR but when that goes by it's just goes scambled on the tv.
Put your VHS tapes up high!!!

Yes, there are video restoration places and they can even transfer them onto DVD's for you. Look it up on google to see if there is a place like this in your area.
