I have heard of the case where in an ultra sound they did only see one baby and hear only one heart beat and thats because one baby was behind the other and the heart beats where in-sync. so maybe you are having twins. Hope things work out for you.

you said you are getting ultrasound and the doc confirms that you are having twins which again is a boy and a girl.
then you said the docs have told you they only see one.
As far as about the twins, and 6-7 months, the doctor is sure of what he is saying by looking ultrasound. If you aren't sure still, get 4D ultrasound and you will be able to see the baby's face as well as the gender. Then whether twin or not will be apparently there along with the face and gender. Good Luck. Nice dreams!

Chances are pretty good that you are only having one, but twins have been missed many many times. If your uterus is measuring consistently with the number of weeks that you are pregnant, then you are most likely having only one. Dreams can get very bizarre during pregnancy! Twins usually cause a rapid and much larger than normal uterine growth rate.
You are probably projecting your thoughts and worries in your dreams, this is perfectly normal, try to relax with some chamomile tea before bed or some warm milk, but not too close to bedtime or you will have to go to the bathroom all night!
**** Luck, and God Bless!

There is always the possibility of a doc being wrong and the possibility that they just aren't seeing the other baby on the ultrasound or hearing the heartbeat over the other babys heartbeat. then again you could be just scared of giving birth twice in one day. haha. Its hard to say if your having one or two. just keep having them listen and looking for two. good luck

I wouldn't pay too much attention to dreams, I kept dreaming of monkeys and urang utangs! I would dream that I would find them injured or poorly and I would nurse them back to good health. When I gave birth the only thing that resembled a monkey was the amount of hair my son had!!

If they did an ultrasound and only saw one then its probably one...And with a twin pregnancy your blood hcg levels are much higher than with just one baby...I had a twin pregnancy and it was very obvious on ultrasound and by bloodwork....Good Luck!

I had a dream that my baby was girl, and she was a girl. If you have had an ultrasound and they only see one, honey theres just one. I think maybe you probably want both now, but you are only having one!

Just because you are dreaming about twins doesn't mean you are having twins!
