My son is in first grade, and he has been getting phone calls from a girl in his class. If we do not answer the phone in time , she will leave a message, then call back , and call back !!! Is it me, or is this to young to be starting ??

my son is 8 and i would allow him to recieve calls from his classmates but i would monitor the conversation.. sit or be in the same room as him. The little girl sounds like she has a md crush on him and i would also suggest talking to the parents or even talk to the teacher in school and see if they have notced them being a little too close. children are underestimated these days... never think for once that they are too young to be experimental. talk 2 the parents let your son have phone calls but on a time limit... say no more than 5 minutes a friend. you dont want him to be NON social.

YOU are you son's parent...YOU have the power to stop these phone calls. Talk to the girls parents and tell them that your son is NOT allowed to get phone calls from girls. End of phone calls.

I do think that that is way to young. Maby it will be ok when he is at least 10 or 11. But seven seems way to young for him to be getting phone calls from a girl in his class.

Consider talkig to her parents and set a appropriate time that she can call your son if it is okay that she calls at all. And also ask them to tell her if the answering machine picks up your son will get back to her and not to call again.

He should notbe allowed to receive phonecalls from anyone except relatives at his age.7 is too early for such distractions!

we are maturing faster al the time,
looks like your son is running
dont worry ,he is to young to get a girl in trouble ,
unless he hits her with his teddy bear

there are far worse things that could happen

it sounds to be cute, just keep watching the behaviour of your son, and talk to him may be he is having some quires that you may answer
relax it is normal now a days
