Hi, I have been trying to pick a name for my next baby.
My son is 2 years old and his name is Xavier Michael.
I am thinking of naming the next baby Christen Sammual. The problem is Christen keeps coming up as a girls name. Can it be used for a boy. My name is Christopher (i am a girl). My husbands name is Stephen. That is why I want to spell it CHRIS TEN. Is the name stupid for a boy. Also christen is a word that means to bless. Is the name Christen pronounced differently Chris-ten?

there are only so many combinations in the world, can the combinations ever repeat from diffrent parents? like winning the lotto chances? i mean that the dna might repeat a few hundred years later...and you have a twin that is exactly identical?

1. It's not considered too soon to wear some maturnity clothes, is it?
2. Is it better to wear an underwire bra or not while pregnant? Over the years I got away from wearing them, but I bought two bras over the weekend, not checking and they are underwire.
Thanks for answering my goofy questions. This is my first baby.

Hi, my 3.5 week old infant is now feeding every 1.5 to 2 hours of breastmilk out of the bottle. Up to about 3 days ago, she was eating the same amount every 3 hours. I thought that here feedings are supposed to get further apart as she got older, but they are getting closer together. I'm worried that we are overfeeding her! Is this normal? is she in a growth spurt? please advise...thanx in advance...

This is a case of my four year old nephew, who has his own room and bed, but every night, when the child inevitably wakes up, my sister goes in his room and sleeps with him for the rest of the night.

During the day, the child constantly seeks attention from my sister. He even tries to forbid her from talking with others. "You will not talk to mommy," is a frequently heard phrase uttered at relatives and friends, even our mother and father. Another is "Mommy, don't talk," when my sister is talking to someone. He will also sometimes punch my sister if she is not paying enough attention to him. The punishment for this behavior is almost non-existent. Oh yeah, the kid is barely potty-trained at age four.

My sister knows this is a problem but won't deal with it. Her husband will not, either, and he is about to be deployed to Iraq, making the situation worse. They are trying to have another child and I don't want to see this happen again. Any suggestions to straighten them both out?

I found out two weeks after my son was born that I wasn't producing enough milk, therefore, he was starving and we didn't even know it. I wanted to breastfeed so badly, but had to switch immediately to formula. I was just wondering, for others who have experienced this, will my second go at it produce the same results? Should I just go immediately to the formula, I don't want this baby to starve. Of course I'll talk to my doc about it, but since I'm curious now, I thought I'd ask you guys!

I just had to put this out here and I guess have my time for once to rant. I was going throught the questions and saw some person put this...
Your question "Do we as adults and parents have no self control?" is a pretty broad one but the answer is Yes, many of us do have self control. The adults and parents which no self control more than likely are not breastfeeding

How crazy is that bull. Makes me mad. Some women have medical issues and some women have a low milk supply. Then their are preemies and babies that have a hard time latching on. Don't think that I'm mad because I formula feed, I breastfeed. It was just an ignorant comment to make.

I have been trying to get pregnant for monthes now and the last time, my doc prescribed a fertility pill. I have only had a chance to be trying for a week now. I have woke up nausiated and my nipples are quite sensitive. Could it be possible to already be feeling symptoms? We began making the effort last Saturday and so it has only been a week and three days of trying.

Ok, let me just clear up that I know when you take a HPT you should always follow instructions, read the test within the time limit specified, etc.
I took a HPT last week. I was supposed to drop 4 drops of urine into the well. I dropped only 2. The test progressed slowly across the window. The test showed a positive, but faded within a few seconds. I KNOW THIS TEST IS INVALID.
I didn't consider this an evaporation line because it did have the right color (pink), wasn't white, dead space, etc.
My question is: What chemically/mechanically would cause a HPT to do this?

So you should all know from my pervious question that I had unprotected sex on the 12th-15th, my period is due on the 22nd or 23rd of Feb.What are the chances of me being pregnant? When do you think I could take a preg. test before my period? What symptoms would I be have right now or very soon? Now, today and yesturday, I have been having really really bad cramping, I wouldnt even call it period cramps, the are so bad. They come and go. It hurts so bad it makes me cry. I am not constipated or anything. Would that possibly be a sign of being pregnant? Please only nice and true answers please.
