It's an interesting thought. I don't think the DNA would be exactly the same, but it seems possible that appearance-wise it could happen.

The correct answer is no. Twins live at the same time in the mothers womb.
SNow flakes are all different too. and they never repeat as well.
It is a good example of DNA. also think of finger prints NO two the same.
People often do resemble each other. Have you ever heard the saying ever one has their twin. They mean LOOK A LIKE not blood related.
I have heard on the radio that a nurse confessed to having had switched babies in the hospital. (Many years after the fact.)THat was in the Kitchener waterloo area. SO in a case likethat it does seem plausable that twins from the same parent could have been split up and one or both would up in different families being raised by different people.
I have always been fascinated by twins and their simularities. So i wonder how simular or different twins would be in that sort of a situation. But A pity - sepearting twins seems so cruel and I would never want to see that happen. Interesting though.

I don't think that it's possible. Even when two parents have many children, they never have a repeat of the same DNA in the kids. This is having the same gene pool, the same two people contributing DNA and still never repeating.

I don't think DNA is ever repeated. each person is unique and will never be duplicated. one woman canNOT have twins by 2 fathers. twins that are separated at birth and raised by different families still have amazing similarities in their lives.

i dont know if what your saying is possible, its interesting though. but i know that fraternal twins can have two different fathers, its really rare, but if a woman has sex with two men very close together it can happen
