It's most important what you and your husband think. However, my honest impression is that Brooklyn sounds more like a girl's name than a boy's name. It's very cute, though.

Timothy Brooklyn is a cute name... Don't know anyone name by Timothy Brooklyn... Something new and different... If you wanted another middle name or first name, try Timothy Paul or Paul Timothy... Timothy Edward....
That's all I can think for now....
Good luck!!
Congratulations to you both..

I like the name Timothy. Also like Brooklyn, but repeating what most of them here have said...it is associated with being a girls name. However, that's not to say it's couldn't be used for both girls and boys. If you want to go with something close...how about Timothy Brookland....kinda sounds like a writers name. lol
You could also try different middle names that start with B..
Timothy Brian
Timothy Bryce
Timothy Blaine
Timothy Bradley
Timothy Bryson

If he would go by Brooklyn than name him Brooklyn - Brooklyn Timothy sounds nice. If you like it that's great and all that should matter - I personally do not like the name Brooklyn, but it doesn't really matter to me.

I am in agreement with most of the people here, I like the name Timothy, but the name Brooklyn is a very girly name. If you have you heart set on being unique, you may want to research a little more. Yes, it is important that you are sold on the name you choose, but just imagine having to grow up as a boy with a feminine name. Just keep that in mind.

It is really cute. I like the flow of it. Brooklyn is a unisex name so I can see why people are saying it seems girly. There are some celebrity kids, boys, with the name Brooklyn though.

I only know girls that are named Brooklyn. SO, that's what I associate that name with. What about Timothy Brooks? I don't know. That's a tough one. I like the name Timothy though. He could go by Tim. That's a cute name.
