He was a big tall mellow chubby kind of kid... After friend recommended some testosterone injections and karate classes, things have changed. He is 16 now - big mountain of agressive muscle (6'1, 220 lbs). He beat some of his bullies to an unrecognizable pulp! He is in court again now for the 4th time. I am very proud and concerned at the same time. Any advice?!

Yes, I know babies spit up, it's what they do. But my Son spits up 5-6 times every hour and some of the time it's clear. We have tried every bottle under the sun, burp him every 1-2 ozs and he's on Nestle goodstart. the only thing we havn't tried is putting cereal in his bottle, some people have told me it helps with the spit up. I just need a way to help my baby, he cries everytime he spits up and he has bad gas, the Mylicon drops don't help. Does the cereal work, or what would you recommened I try? And, yes I 've been to his Dr...they say not to worry about it but I can't help but to worry.

My 2 yr old wakes up 3 to 4 times in the night crying. People tell me to ignore it and she'll go back to sleep but its hard to ignore it because she hollers. So I go to her room and tell her to go back to sleep and she does. But I'm going crazy having to keep waking up I feel like I have a newborn all over again.

Can anyone give me some advice??

Woman A - From birth till age 1, her child is almost always in the swing, except feeding and crib time. At age 3, he is developmentally were he needs to be (same stages as any other 3 yr old), enjoys alone time, and is very well behaved.

Woman B - From birth till age 1, her child is given 1-2 hours of swing time a day. Otherwise he is given floor time and jumperoo time. At age 3, he is developmentally at the same stages of other child, but adjusts easily to new activities, even alone time.

Woman C - From birth on, her child is never given swing time. He is given floor time and play time, never confined in a play station. At age 3, he is developmentally more advanced than other children his age, but always needs to be active/exploring. He is very social but occasionally acts up out of boredom.

We (my husband and I) thought that I was 11w4days pregnant. We were scheduled for our first U/S on Feb 8th. However, after the U/S my OB told me that my baby had died at 5w4ds. It was such a shock becuase during that time we had two other doctor visits where they told us everything was fine. I had not had any cramping. I had one episode of very light spotting, which the doctor told me not to worry about. The doctor made me wait for another 6days and then did another U/S. I ended up getting a D&C.

Anyway, i just dont understand why we did not find out that I'd miscarried until 6 weeks after it happened. Is that normal? What should I do the next time. I'm scared to try again because this was so painful, both emotionally and physically.

What can I do about a friend's 3 year old daughter who seems to have jealousy issues about my 4 week old son? The last 2-3 times this friend and her daughter has come over to the house she gets very jealous of my son and starts acting like a baby when she comes over. My friend and my boyfriend seem to think it rather cute and won't do anything about it. So the entire time she is at my house I not only take care of my son but I have to keep an eye on her cause she takes my son's bottles off the table or counter and puts them in her mouth along with his pacifer, sets in his carseat, etc. It is very annoying and I don't feel I should be the one to be mean and try to make her behave. Anyone got any ideas on what I can do to solve this problem with out being the bad guy?

Woman A - Her 2 year old has a chest full of toys. This gives him many toys to choose to play with, even if he doesn't play with half of them. Every 6 months, he is given about 5-8 new toys and still has access to all his previous toys.
Woman B - Her 2 year old has 10-12 toys, varing in size and purpose. Most of his toys are educational and frequently played with. He is given a new toy every 2-3 months, but one is taken away also.

Who's opinion do you support:
Woman A - whenever she takes a bath she takes it with her 5 month old in a full size tub.
Woman B - She never allows her 5 month old into the tub with her. Her child is always bathed in an infant bath.

Assume at 1 yr of age this is still what they are doing.

My GF's 15 yr old son is addicted to World of Warcraft and he will do anything he can to play that stupid game. He is flunking out of school because he never does any homework and just plays WOW all night after school. My GF took his computer away from him and put parental controls on his WOW account but it didn't stop him. He opened another account under a different name and goes over to a friends house after school and plays the game. He has been told to come home right after school but he just comes and goes as he pleases and doesn't do anything his Mom tells him to do. The parents of his friend let him come over even though they know he is not allowed to be there. Does my GF have the right to call the police and get her son out of his friends house? What can my GF do to control her son? She is very loving to him but he does not respond. He calls her a whore and is very very disrespectful just because she will not let him play the game. His father is a deadbeat and doesn't help.
