I live in a townhouse. The guy who lives on my bedroom wall side always plays his music very loud at 1 am. I need to go to sleep around 10pm. I have to get up for work at 5 am. My husband has trown a box at the wall several times to show him that we are angry and instead he turns the music up. I get no sleep from 1am on. I am 6 month pregnant and need as much sleep as i can get. How do I approach this guy?

I have recently retired to give my full attention to raising this child because I felt working = getting up at 4 a.m = was not fair to him. I just didn't have the mental sharpness to keep up with him. I have found out, I still may not. Any advice would be appreciated.l

I have a 26 month old that goes easily on the child-size potty. I'm now ready for him to start using the big potty; the main toliet. Problem is that we have an oblong toliet seat and he fell in before. Now, he won't even try to sit on it. I've gone to a few websites and I can find a "child"/"potty training seat" for an oblong toliet. Any suggestions??

I'm tired. When I wake up I feel like a dead man walking. I feel kind of distant for a while. Takes me a long time to get going.

I am the Secretary of our Elementary School's PTO. I am also the Secretary of a Parents' Support Group (parents of disabled children). At the beginning of the year someone else besides me wanted to be Secretary of the PTO but she didn't get it because I have been Secretary for the past 3 years and she just moved here. She came to one of our support group meetings and when I was elected Secretary there she must have thought she had it made. Now she is weaseling her way around kissing everyone's butt, especially the principal. She is doing things (that she wants to do) that are my job. The other PTO officers are just letting her do it because they don't care who does the work as long as they don't have to. They are also not voting on issues like they are suppose to and they are scheduling the PTO meetings at the last minute so there is not time to even announce it. Should I throw a fit about it or step down and let her have it?

I'm going to buy a humidifier for my son's room, does anyone recommend a brand? There are so many types and I don't want to get one that is cheap and doesn't do anything but I don't want to spend a ton on money on one that is as good as a cheaper one! Help! Has anyone bought one from a drugstore? Target? Walmart? These are all place close by that I would be going to. Thanks in advance!

I go places and see kids talking to their parents like they are the parent. They talk really disrespectful. I don't believe in child abuse, but i do believe in a good butt whipping. Not for everything they do, but the real major stuff. What do you think??

I was on depo-provera for a year and a half and have been off of it for almost 3 years. I am not on birth control and haven't been for 2 and a half years. I worry that I should of been pregnant by now and that there might be something wrong with me. I know that my husband is fertile but I have never been pregnant.

But we aren't trying to get pregnant and my doctor says that I shouldn't worry unless we are actively trying to get pregnant since there are only certain times of the month when you can get pregnant. Also, we don't have sex that often. But i still can't help but wonder should i be pregnant by now.

Help. Only serious answers please.

My dad went to pick up my 2 yrs old baby at daycare and her arm was totally scratched up... They told him it seemed like a rash, which was obviously not... It seemed like the kid who did it had all the time in the world to tear it up...there were scratches left and right and nooow today the dc director is saying she mightve fallen outside and scratched it...It doesnt look like that...they look like scratch marks...Im so pissed!... How do I fight that...I guess I wont be able to prove it, but it's not fair since the baby cant tell me who it was!!! I know I need to talk to the director cause I think they shouldve noticed this happening and not try to cover it saying it was a rash... !! Do have any other ideas of what I can tell her or ask her?? These were obviously not "branch" scratches and I dont they should EVEN be playing with branches outside... This is one of the best daycares in town and I pay good money but just the way the director is trying to cover the teacher enfuriating

My son has used a nipple on the bottle for so long, that it has become large, icky, and gross, however, he loves it. The problem is, the nipple recently became unusable when it tore from over use. Now he does not want a newer nipple, which is also smaller. I have been unable to locate larger nipples in the stores. It seems as if there is only one size. I've tried boiling the newer nipples to see if they would expand, but htis does not work. Any suggestions????

I am almost 6 weeks pregnant and I've been having these sharp pains in my abdomen/pelvic area. They are not constant...they occur every once in a while but when they do, they are painful. Like really bad cramping. There has been no bleeding or discharge of any kind. I've been taking vitamins that by OB perscribe but I think they are making me nauseous. My doctor said the ultra sound was fine and I should be doing ok but why am I having these pains? My doctor couldnt (or wouldnt) tell me. Should I be worried that it might be a miscarriage? This is my first pregnancy and I dont know what is happening.
