Pregnancy & Parenting - 14 February 2007

I used Eucerine and baby Aveeno and they seem to make his eczema worse. I think my baby is allergic to cow's milk protein and Aveeno had milk protein in it and it's supposed to be hypoallergenic. Any suggestions? Has anyone tried Cetaphil? Is this mild enough for baby face?

my daughter is 3 months old and i try to put her on her sleep on her back but she doesn't sleep well that way. she wakes up and cries every couple hours for no reason. but when i put her on her tummy she will sleep through the night. now i know about all the SIDS stuff, im just wondering if any other mothers have had this problem and what they did. And am i really putting my child in danger.

I want to visit my friend in Philly this summer. Rather than drive, I was thinking of either flying or taking a train with my two year old. Is there a portable, easy-to-carry car seat available for kids about 25 pounds? I have thought of the backless booster, but I think my son would have to weigh more.

I went off birth control in January 2006. My cycles were 30 days until December, when it switched up to 42 days. Is it possible for me to still track when I ovulate? Do I use the shorter cycle or the longer one? My husband comes home in August from deployment, so I figured if I start now I'll have it straight by then.

im travelling to the USA for a few months, virgin atlantic have child seats for there planes so i dont need it for the flight, but i need to take one with me and check it, my usual one is too heavy for the baggage alowence, anyone know of a good safe lightweight car seat for a 30month old, hes quite skinny so on the lower weight for his age.

i need something with a 3 or 5 point harness and can be lifted easily as im single parent travelling on my own.

any ideas anyone?

my daughter used to look through her corner of her eyes since she was a baby. as she growing up it is less and less. we took her to opthomologist 2 times they said her vision is ok. According to pediatrician she is fine and her hearing is ok. now she in kindergarten and her teacher pointed out same problem to us.can somebody suggest something. i know she is smart and inteligent but when she does that it does not look right. could it be her brain problem. because sometime she does that when she thinks and wants to say something.what should we do?

I am asking this because i take a prenatal vitamin obviously because i am just about 37 weeks pregnant plus i eat pretty well which has a lot of vitamins and then i drink vitamin water ( 1 a day) is this safe? Should i not drink the vitamin water? I know this is probably a really silly question but i was just wondering. Thanks!

Is it OK to give my cottage cheese if she is lactose and soy interolerant? She is on Alimentum b/c she gets a very upset tummy from regular formula. Would cottage cheese or yogurt be something I can still give her or are they just out of the question?

Last year I had two miscarriages... one in Feb. and another one in April. The one I had in Feb. I didn't know I was pregnant til I had already miscarried... I noticed that "period" was unusual so I visited the doc and he did a preg test & it came back positive. Then, the next month I got pregnant again. I went back to the doctor and he made me come back the next week to make sure the positive result wasn't from the miscarriage and that my HCG levels were rising. Anyway, I also lost that one at about 7 weeks. Now me and my partner are wanting to try again and I'm scared to death the same thing will happen. Should I see a doc to see if there's something wrong with me or should I try one more time and if it happens again then go to a doc? I'm really worried about losing another one... the last one really took a toll on me and I just really got over that one and don't think I could go through that again... Thanks for all the answers

Is it possible to get pregnant without having intercourse? Say a girl performs oral on a guy, and he comes, and then the guy does some stuff to her, and his hands might be a little unclean from his own come, and he touches her in that special place. Is it possible that the girl can get pregnant from this? It is that time of the month and her period is a day late. I know this sounds wierd, but anwers would really be appreciated.
