Be patient! Very patient. Learn how to feed them simultaneously if their parents do it that way.
Other than that get used to doing and saying everything twice.
Be perceptive to their differences in personality. Just because they are twins does not mean they will like or do the same thing.

My sister has 3 year old twin boys and surprisingly, they are pretty easy to care for and always have been. Since I don't know what age children you are going to be caring for it's a little harder to tell you what to expect, but....
"Our" twins were on a schedule from the beginning where one would get a bottle, then the second. Once they got into high chairs and regular foods, they took turns on each bite and you had to be able to shovel fast! And I don't know if it is their schedule or a twin thing for them, but when one is wet or dirty, the other one is too. This is still true for them on their "daily constitutions"---- one goes into one bathroom and literally within 5 mins or so the other one has to go to the other bathroom. Quite funny!! In my experiences with them, they play together very, very well and are so easy to watch because they stay together. I think it will just depend on the individual kids and their individual personalities as to how they play together and what they like to do. If they are identical, try to find a determining factor so that you can keep them straight as to who is who because I know my nephews will certainly let you know if you've guessed wrong! :o)
Remember also that if they like to be together---- unattended even for a minute while you go to the bathroom means that there are four hands to destroy/color/break things and they can get a lot of "damage" done in a shorter amount of time!
Enjoy!
