I feel my friends with borading school back ground are smarter in all ways, but then there is scope for kids to get spoilt in boarding schools as the parental care wil be missing.

i'm confused - where should i join my kids - in boarding schools or keep them with me and send them to day school??

A friends son has recently been immunised agaisnt measles and is covered in spots and has a temperature. Could he have contracted measles from the shot? and could my 6 month old daughter get it because we all live in the same house. He had his shot over a week ago.

Okay I had unprotected sex on the 13th of january. I have seen my period on the 21st of january,But it was irregular. It started coming down in spots,then it came down normal for a day or two while it was'nt quite normal cause there was no blood in my panties only when i pass urine. And then it went back to spotting and I have a discharge which my panties seems to stay wet.I also have back pains and cramps often. Could you tell me if I may be preganant and how soon can I take the test.

My name is Chris. My wife has had a blanket since she was 2 years old that her grandmother gave her. We are both in the Military and live in Hawaii. Her grandmother passed away. The blanket she has she sleeps with EVERY NIGHT but it is not in good shape. She wants to fold it up and put it away so it doesn’t get any worse then it already is. But knowing how much it means to her sine she passed I am looking for someone that could make a new one that it the exact same. Where do I find someone that can to it.

Aus Immigration Having baby with foreigner can he come to Australia to live?
I am almost 3 months pregnant (I am Australian) with a Argentinan man who I am marrying next month, we have been together performing in Mexico in a big show for over a year as partners. I am moving back to Australia to have the baby, does anyone know about the immigration laws, and if he can become a resident easily, if so how long can it take? will he be allowed to come for the birth of my baby? I love him so much and I want my baby to have it's father close, but I also must be close and live in Australia close to my family... What are my options, does or has anyone been in this situation, what did you have to do?

My mother told me that my daughter does not respect her ..hits her ..throw chairs at her...and slippers at and her..and say bad words...i don't understand i never heard her cursing ..and she act normal when i am around and she knows better than to even put a hand on my mother...she act's totally different when i'm around..please help ...i went back to work and i know she still miss me ..but this?..being bad to grandma ..my moms?.....why she act's like that when i'm not around...this really hurt my feeling .....i took my daughter to the side and told her ..how sad i feel that she is treating my mother like that. ..and i firmly told her don't ever do that to grandma ..but grandma...never tells me what she does...and defends her and tries to get in ..in the way i parenthood my child..please help ..what would you do if that was your child treating your mother bad?

I made my son's out of fresh veggies and fruits...since then, I have heard that frozen veggies contain more nutrients as they are flash frozen shortly after picking. I like making the food myself as it saves a lot of $, but I don't want to short-change my new baby's health.

do you ever feel like your childs teacher is way to pushy with your child, and you know that your child is doing their best, but you keep getting notes home saying your child isn't trying hard enough? I find it really annoying, my son has a learning disability and his teacher is making it so he is afraid to go to school[his only 8] he had this spelling test, he had to remember how to spell 32 words and got 8 wrong, she mad him write all the words he got wrong ten time each... to me he did great, for a kid with a learning disability, I'm feel soooo angry at his LD teacher!!!

My 3 year old daughter has a black goldfish named Elmo and we bought her an orange goldfish to go with it last Wednesday. She named it Grover. Within hours it died. So we told her that my husband took Grover to the fish doctor and we'd go get him tomorrow.

So the next day I went and bought another one just like him. He was doing great until earlier tonight. When she went to bed he was still alive but barely. She thought he was sleeping. A few hours later he died.

I don't want to buy another one. And I don't want to tell her it died because we've already had to deal with the death of our 12 year old dog 10 months ago ... and she still asks for him everyday.

So, what would you tell your child?

My daughters father complained that I took her to my grandmothers funeral. He didn't say anything about not wanting her to go until after it was done and over with. I talked to him before we went and while I was at the funeral home. He makes no since to me. Please let me know if he does to you. Our daughter is 4 and she didn't even go near the body. They had a separate room that all the kids stayied in during the cerimony. He won't listen to me on that though. At what age would you take a child to a funeral and what age is it safe to teach a child about death?
