I feel my friends with borading school back ground are smarter in all ways, but then there is scope for kids to get spoilt in boarding schools as the parental care wil be missing.

i'm confused - where should i join my kids - in boarding schools or keep them with me and send them to day school??

I don't know the statistics on GPA's or anything, but the concept of a boarding school has always seemed bizarre to me. I think of boarding schools and all I can think of are stuffy, rich parents who don't want to make time for their kids so they send them off somewhere to be taken care of by strangers.
You can keep your kids with you and send them to regular school, and if you find things that school is leaving out but that you'd like your kids to know, take it upon yourself to supplement those things in. I'm not saying you need to add hours a day in an unofficial home-school regimen, but parents are the first teachers a child ever has. Encourage them to read and have books around the house that reference history, art, etc.

I don’t think boarding schools or day care centers are really suitable for tiny ones. That is the age that they need their parent’s love and warmth the most. True, maybe these kids show good manners but more than the rules I think childhood deserves fun and joy and most of all a lovable home environments.

You can make your child smarter educating them at home. There are so many ways to do this and practicing good manners at home and showing them what is right and wrong does not require a teacher itself. You can make the learning fun and enjoy the family time all at the same time.

My preference would be day school. IF the family has a regular dinner schedule when everyone sits around the table and talks about their day, exchanges information and shares ideas and love. One of the greatest benefits of a family is the family sharing at least once a day. Certainly while the children young, say before 14. It is important that children learn to trust their parents and for parents to learn about their children. On the other hand, if there is lots of tension in the family, if the dinner table is an ordeal for everyone, if there is little in the way of expressed love in the household, then perhaps it is better for the children to not be exposed to this turmoil. It depends on what you want ot teach your children.

I would say day schools are better as you can keep track of your child's activities and spending. If he/she studies abroad, you won't be able to keep track of them nor monitor them.
