We have two kids and at the moment I'm not working formally (because I honestly wouldn't earn enough to justify the childcare). However, I've found that since I'm at home, everyone else assumes that I'm available to take care of their kids. In an emergency situation, I'd be happy to help out but this is just the regular ' Oh Miriam can go and pick them up/take care of them when they're sick/take them to their ball games' kind of scenario. Quite frankly I'm tired of it and am starting to refuse unless I'm convinced it's an emergency, one-off situation. I do like kids but it's just getting ridiculous. I've been surprised by the rude reactions my refusals are getting. Have you faced this situation and how do you handle it diplomatically?

We have done what we can; I have taken all the tests, and after about 2 years still no baby. I have read MANY times that the best thing to do is relax. Try not to think about getting pregnant. BUT HOW? How do you forget about it when it is always on your mind? I know there must be some women out there that have been through this. Is there anything you can tell me? I was one day late this month. I already started planning for pregnancy. Thinking of baby names. I am not crazy. At least not yet. I just need to stop obsessing

I am 36 weeks pregnant and I am scheduled for a c-section at 38 weeks. Within the past week I have had a yellowish pasty discharge very bad to the point I am having to wear a panty liner. It has a foul smell to it. I have also had a little bit of brownish spotting. Is this normal for 36 weeks?

i think i got a little precum in my girlfriend, but i didnt actully *** in her. (the condom broke, and i realized just in time.) However, over the past month, my gf's appetite increased. She took a home pregnancy test and it came back negative. She got her period last week, but now she is conplaining of pelvic pains. Should we consult a doctor for a possible pregnancy?

He's not tall enough to be a center (don't know his position, but who cares), he's quite mean, and he is a big jerk.

Yeah, my soon to be ex-best friend's boyfriend is who I'm talking about.

Nathan is a complete jackass. He is so mean and makes unnecessary cracks, a lot about me.

And what does Erin do? Sits her short butt down, laughing along.

I can't stand it anymore, I just want to beat his stuck-up butt down to the ground. I will not tell a teacher or anything else, I want to show him not to ever mess with Z.

Should I teach him a lesson, by knocking him out?

I may use my legs mostly, just because the muscle's there due to DDR practice.

Have such a hard time pushing out a baby? It looks easy, and I think women WAY overstress the pain and hard work. I was watching a movie and the lady acted like she was going to die. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to let women have the children?? LOL. My question, how come it's so hard? Looks easy!

My 9 year old has issues falling asleep most every night. We have been trying different things to help him relax (music, relaxation, breathing, silence, bathes, warm milk, white noise, even went as far as trying regular noise, lol) but nothing has worked. When he was younger (4 and 5) the Dr told me to give him benedryl but that was a short term fix. I have tried everything I can think of, does anyone have ideas that help children get calm? He grows very frustrated very quickly tjhat he can't go to sleep which only prolongs the process of him falling asleep. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

They are in my lower abdomin, just about in the center of the abnomin, a little to the right. i get a few a day, the come and go real quick, and aren't any worse than when i had my period. Could this possibly be an ectopic pregnancy or am i just being paranoid??

Right now I currently live in California and about 6 weeks pregnant, im moving to either Arizona or Oregon on the 28th of this month (my fiance hasnt decided which would be a better place to live) Im signing up for medi-cal but since im moving wouldnt it just be better to wait and get whatever the state insurance is wherever im moving?

my question is what is the insurance provided by the state called for Arizona? Oregon? because medi-cal is just for california right?

thank you!

I am 27 weeks pregnate today, I have a 3 year old girl who I went into labour with at 31 weeks pregnate.
On Saturday I lost what I am sure was my mucous plug, I have been having bad period like pains in my vigina muscles. Lots of strong baxton hicks contractions since I was about 22 weeks pregnate and leaking a fuild for about 1 week now.
The doctor thinks I am being silly, but the same things happened with my first little girl. It took them 4 days and many test to find the small trace of amniotic fluid I was leaking.
What do I do to make them believe me for its to late and I go into labour and that cant stop it?

someone just asked about 3rd graders learning about different type of families (lesbian and gay). for those who are against it, what about the children of these gay parents? do you think it might be easier for them if their classmate saw a film about different families? and kids will know that their classmate has two moms or two dads
wouldn't it also be better that your children understand that while they have a mom and a dad, some have two moms or two dad or only one parent?
that way they don't mistreat another student out of confusion

My 6 year old is really trying my patients along with the patients of other adults he comes into contact with. I have tried almost everything. He is disruptive in school, and at martial arts. At home he is distructive and hateful. I have tried the soft spoken approch, the you listen know approch, and the heavy strick disiplain approch. We have even talked to the doctor and No he's not ADD or ADHD. They say he's just a boy. I find it hard to believe that most boys are this hard. So now I am at the end of my rope and the only form of disipline Left that I know is Marine Corp. Style.
As an exmarine I know this form well, but I am reluctant to use it. So my question is do you think it would me inappropriate to use military style disipline to correct the horrible behavior of a child?
For those who are unfilmilar with this form it is loud and very physically demanding. I don't even know if push ups and running will stop his bad behavior. Do you think this might work or do you have any ideas
